The second episode of Queendom Puzzle is coming soon. It is a newly premiered K-pop survival show by Mnet. It is a sequel to the popular K-pop girl group survival show Queendom. The first episode aired on June 13, 2023, and already rising in popularity among the viewers. They are excited to see the competition between old and new members of various girl groups.
Queendom Puzzle is a survival reality show featuring twenty-eight members from popular K-pop groups. They will compete in an individual battle every week, not groups like Queendom Series. Audiences will cast their votes by selecting seven members of their choice. The lowest scorer will eliminate from the show. The best seven members will debut as a project girl group.
Taeyeon (Girls’ Generation) is the host of Queendom Puzzle. The show will feature members from popular groups WJSN, Momoland, Loveyyz, Weekly, Purple Kiss, Weki Meki, AOA, and more. The mentor panel is not made public in the first episode. Viewers are excited to see Hyolyn (Former Sistar), Minhyuk (BTOB), Seo Eunkwang (BTOB), Gabee (LaChica), and Choi Youngjun (1 Million) as the judges.

The first episode began with participants directed toward their respective seats. There were four sitting areas. Twenty-eight keywords were on the screen defining the artists on the Queendom Puzzle. Participants kept guessing which keyword was about them. The MC of Queendom Puzzle Season 2 was Taeyeon. Everyone welcomed her with applause and excitement. She was the previous MC of Queendom Season 2.
Taeyeon began by discussing how the show varies from the Queendom series. The twenty-eight girls come from various groups and backgrounds. They will be divided into separate groups to compete with one another. The ideal pair will be seven persons. They will form a global project group and surprise everyone around the world. It will be possible by the viewers’ choices. They will vote to create a team, not individuals.
Queendom Puzzle’s combination voting rules are as follows. Viewers will access the Mnet App or a global voting platform. They will select their ideal team with seven participants and click the vote button. They will share their combination on various social media. The voting will take place every week along with the show. Viewers will create their ideal combination once a week.
Taeyeon discloses the tier system of the Queendom Puzzle. These tiers are created from the data collected about participants. It is done based on the total number of top rankings in music shows and their highest album sales records. These four tiers are only for the day and will be pointless as the competition starts. The tiers will get reorganized for battles every week. The first battle is the Up Down Battle. It will be an individual battle where they have to prove themselves. It will be evaluated by an upvote and downvote by the members.
There were a total of thirteen performances in the episode performed by Do Hwa, Zoa, Jiwoo, Jiwon, Suyun, Nana, Chae Yeon, Fye, Riina, Ji Han, Woo Yeon, Bora, and Kei. The first battle videos are available on the Mnet K-pop youtube channel. After the first battle, members received a mysterious card. It has the name of the member who upvoted or downvoted them. Do Hwa and Bora returned the cards, but others opened them. The situation doesn’t seem harmonious anymore.
