Created and written by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan, the comedy series titled, Man Like Mobeen is a British show following the life of a man named Mobeen who struggles to raise his younger sister, Aqsa, all the while spending his time with his best buddies, Nate and Eight. The show is a Cave Bear and Tiger Aspect production with the backdrop for the show set in Small Heath in Birmingham.
The comedy-drama revolves around Mobeen trying to make sure his sister gets raised in a healthy environment in a way that his past involvement with drug dealing does not affect her life. With his parents gone, he tries to live an ideal life as a Muslim man while trying to keep clear of his dangerous past. The show is based heavily on the Muslim culture and has, for the same reason, cast actors who represent the religion even in reality.
The series has cast Guz Khan in the role of the main guy, Mobeen, along with Tolu Ogunmefun as Nate and Tez Ilyas as Eight Mughal, two of Mobeen’s good friends and selected family who help him raise his sister, Aqsa played by Duaa Karim. Apart from the main cast, the series has a talented list of actors making up the supporting characters and contributing heavily to the show.
The series launched its first season on December 17th, 2017, and is back with its fourth season. The show has received great love and positive reviews from fans and critics, with many applauding the writing and the ridiculously witty and hilarious jokes that have been incorporated into the show.
Man Like Mobeen Season 4: The Plot
The show will return to fans with the old cast completely intact and with some possible new additions, and a whole lot of new challenges and obstacles are thrown into Mobeen’s life. Though it took long enough for season four to come around, fans have still gladly welcomed it. We ended the last season with Mobeen and his friend Nate being sent to jail after Eight’s death.
Clearly, Mobeen’s attempt at turning his life one-eighty degrees to make good things happen did not work out all that well for him. Season four will focus on how Mobeen tries his best to be good in prison while some old characters come back into the picture under entirely different circumstances. We will see Mobeen and Nate cope with the death of their friend while trying to adjust to their new life without roughing up more problems.
