Created by Lee Eun-Kyung and aired by Netflix, the strategy-based survival show Siren: Survive The Island has released its final episodes, but with the confusing cliffhanger the viewers were left on, many believe that the show has yet another task lined up for its brave winners.
Netflix first started airing Siren: Survive The Island on May 30th, 2023. It started as an action-filled competition with 24 women from different careers grouped up to survive on a remote island. These women were selected from different departments, such as Firefighters, Athletes, Guards, Stun women, and Soldiers. Since all of these women were exceptionally skilled in survival management, the show provided an intriguing image of what true women’s empowerment feels like.
From building their shelters to fighting off the enemy in teams in Base Battles, Siren had tons of challenges lined up for these powerful teams. Netflix decided to release Siren in two parts, which was a great decision since the intensity of the last few episodes would have been too much to witness at once.
The catch behind Siren: Survive The Island is that there’s no prize for the winning team. Instead, they’re only paid to be on the show. Now that the Siren has found its winner, it looks like there might be a “hidden” prize waiting for them after all.
Siren Survive The Island Episode 10: Recap
In the previous episode, we see Team Guard’s Lee Su-ryeon and Hwang Su-Hyun get eliminated from the game. Team Athlete then successfully occupies one of the bases, sending pink fireworks out into the sky. The team Athlete celebrates their win, and meanwhile, Team Guard is disappointed in themselves for not going straight to the Firefighter’s base. The team Guard takes down their flag.
Back at their base, the Team firefighter prepares for the next day. All this while they were both allied teams, but with now only 8 people remaining, they’ve become enemies. As the next day arrives, Team Firefighters are informed that Team Athletes own four different bases, making it hard for them to locate the exact place where they’ll be hiding their flag. Team Firefighters decide to hide a decoy at their shelter base.
Hyeon Ji is tasked to protect the Team Firefighter’s base while the rest of the members head out to get Team Athlete’s flag. The Firefighters arrive at Team Athlete’s base, and everyone at the base waits for the perfect moment to attack them. They find out where the rest of the team is, and Hyeon-ah attacks the members head-on. As they fall down the stairs, Hyeon-ah’s flag is taken, making her get eliminated from the game. Just as that happens, Team Athlete Kim Syeong-yeon is eliminated as well.
At the Firefighter’s base, the rest of the Team Athlete arrives to take down their flag. Lim Hyeon-ji is eliminated. Eventually, the Team Firefighters also take down their flag. The Firefighter leaves with a very sad yet determined mindset. Team Athlete finally occupies all of the bases, making them the ultimate winner of the survival show. Just as they’re celebrating their victory, a firework goes off, indicating that they have yet another place to go in the game.
Will There Be A Siren Survive The Island Episode 11?
Although it may seem like Siren: Survive The Island ended on a very confusing note and would have another episode that would clear things up, this season of the survival show has ended with only 10 episodes. Instead of an 11th episode, Netflix might be gearing up to bring back the intense competition with a new season soon.
Since Team Athlete was informed to go someplace as the season ended, they might have an important task in the upcoming season 2. This survival show didn’t have any prizes, to begin with, but this probably means that the winning team has a significant and worthy role to play when the new contestants of Season 2 arrive.

All Siren: Survive The Island episodes are now available to stream on Netflix in most regions globally. If a new season happens to premiere soon, It will presumably be released on Netflix in two or more parts.
