Ranger Reject Chapter 97: Recap
The chapter starts with Yamabuki trapped in the dream world. Thanks to the executive Magata’s power, Yamabuki found himself in a dream world. In that instant, he got caught in that trap. He remembered a man he once looked up to. The story shifts to a past sequence in which Yamabuki asks Daidai if the divine tool they were using was made for the girl. The story shifts to the present when Yamabuki is about to get crushed between walls, but Nagisa has come to rescue him.
Nagisa told him the place might look like a playground, but he sounded not let his guard down unless he wanted to die. He told Yamabuki that the invaders were unreasonable by their nature, and it was a mystery how they would escape that intact. However, Nagisa told him the mysteries exits to be solved. He then went toward the invader go they could escape the dream world as soon as possible. Ukyo saw Nagisa coming at them, so she told Juji to run because, without him, the dream world won’t hold together.
Nagisa went to attack Ukyo with his divine tool, but Ukyo destroyed the pathway on which he was walking with her burst form. Yamabuki told Nagisa that he was third class, so that’s why he never communicated with him, but Ukyo had the powers of executive Andrega. She could create sacred ground where she could ward off any harm. That was the ultimate defense that could reflect all forms of hostility. Yamabuki warned Nagisa not to make rash attacks.
Yamabuki remembered what Daidai had said to him. Daidai had told Yamabuki that it was the potential of humanity, the limitless potential of humans, that could surpass the absurdity of an invader. After remembering that Yamabuki got cheered up, he told Nagisa they were the yellow battalion, the backbone of the rangers, and they could defeat Invaders.
We then see Blue Battalion fight the monsters. They were protecting the civilians from that monster. The civilians were acting strange and were being too touchy with Konno. Komachi noticed that the ones they were thinking of as humans were Invaders. So she told Konno to move away from them. When Konno ran away from them, suddenly, the couple got converted into an executive.
