In 1987, Baek Hee Seop got beaten up and was covered in blood, sobbing in a corner. Yoon Young saw him and offered her hand to help. He refuses to go any further until his brother has left the inn. Yoon Young learned why his leg was in bad shape after seeing how severely he was hurt. She takes him to the hospital, but he prefers to be alone.
Hae Joon gave his watch to Yoo Seop earlier and asked to hold himself for fifteen minutes. Reporters came to check out the inn after getting the message from Hae Joon. Finally, Yoo Seop and Hee Seop are alive. Hee Seop went to the hospital, where his leg received the required medical attention.
Hae Joon planned to work on a different path. Yoon Yeon Woo fixed the time travel car. Yoon Young and Hae Joon are discussing their current situation and have to finish what they have started. Their final mission was in 1987, saving Kim Hae Gyeong. She was a student connected to Mi Sook and the last victim of the murder case. Hae Gyeong knew this secret of Mi Sook. Yoon Young and Hae Joon want to make Hae Gyeong change her mind before running away.
In 1987, Hae Gyeong and her friends wore matching hairbands. Two students in the classroom discussed her father’s romance with Hae Gyeong’s mother. She made an insulting statement to Hae Gyeong’s mother, which enraged Hae Gyeong and provoked a fistfight. Her teacher slapped her. She came back home and wanted to eat seaweed soup. Her mother made kimchi soup again. She was about to run away when Hae Joon stopped her.
Hae Joon mentioned a letter left by her for her mother. He is taking her on a trip for the day to calm her mind. They visit a 300-year-old tree. He makes her realize how her mother felt after she left. She has been facing challenges and never gave up on her daughter. Yoon Young brings Soon Sae to meet Hee Seop in the hospital. Yoon Young saw them together and understood why Hee Seop was important to Soon Ae.
Yeon Woo is still working on the time travel car. Yeon Woo hurries to watch the movie with his date. Hae Joon recalls his father starting to date his mother at that time. The girl has the same hairband as Mi Sook, Chunga, and Hae Gyeong. He was curious about his mother, who had abandoned him after his birth.
