Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 3 Recap
Madison Clark was in the limelight in the third episode. She returned and had her first interaction with June since the fourth season because June was present in the series as ‘Naomi.’ Shrike kept collecting Madison’s blood over the years as she thought that her blood would cure the walker bites.
PADRE was supposedly disappointed for not getting a cure for the bites. Madison mentioned the presence of a file containing details regarding the kids and their parents, which will help those families reunite. Meanwhile, June found a boy responding to the radiation. She wanted to take Madison’s blood as she knew that Shrike would take Madison’s blood if she did not.
Mo did not hear about Finch since his transfer. So, she wanted to know about him. She tried to convince Madison to scarify herself while finding the cure, but Madison was least interested in being a hero. Dove admired PADRE. However, her loyalty towards him started shaking when she realized that their research caused more deaths than treatments.
Shrike claimed to be PADRE’s daughter who would get unstoppably dangerous if she died. Madison and Daniel shared a bond because Madison wanted the kids to reunite with their families, and Daniel wanted to get over the guilt of not saving Ophelia and Charlie.
Madison and Daniel called PADRE a hypocrite who took the kids away from their parents in the name of treatment. But, was not PADRE away from his daughter, Shrike? However, they try to encourage other teenagers to go against him. On the other hand, Shrike reminded Madison of the reason for separating the kids from their parents.
Krennick got bitten on his face by the walkers while saving his children. PADRE’s identity got revealed! PADRE is nothing but Shrike and Crane, while the latter provided the voice for PADRE. Shrike and Crane’s father, Krennick, sacrificed to become a walker after getting bitten by an undead. He used to seed healthy relationships with other civilizations to make sure none fell short of materials during a crisis.
Shrike and Crane decided to take their father’s legacy ahead after his demise. However, they did not replace their father as an honor. Instead, Shrike acted as the trusted general of the supreme leader, and Crane pretended to be Kennerick by only lending his voice. PADRE is the civilization formed by Shrike and Crane, led by the anonymous supreme leader.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 4 Preview
According to the trailer, Morgan shows up at an old house in King County with a long thick stick. It looks like the house shown in the first episode, but the exterior is different. Morgan must be there only to check it or hide himself. However, King County, Georgia, is the place where he used to live at the beginning of Fear The Walking Dead.
Audre thinks that PADRE serves a purpose. Dwight and Sherry want to bring Morgan back to PADRE. We will find ‘Duane’ written on the wall because Morgan wants to re-live his past. He broke when his son, Duane, died. Thus, he started scribbling something on the walls of his apartment, and the word ‘Duane’ is one of those scribblings. This mental trauma must have somewhere encouraged him to join PADRE.
Mo will appear in the upcoming episode and get reunited with her father. Some viewers must be thinking that Duane is still alive and may appear in the upcoming episodes. So, it will get tricky if this theory gets true. Jenny will still be in the apartment but in terrible condition. She will not be a walker anymore. Instead, she will be one the way of getting decayed. Morgan will be putting his life at stake for hiding his secrets.
