Call Me the Devil Chapter 56 will bring us flashbacks of how the Hyeonshin’s group came together. The flashback will be at a bit of an inconvenient time as things are about too interesting as Ina was at a crossroads over an important decision. However, the story of the past will help us uncover the action Hyeonshin will take in the upcoming chapters.
But things have gotten far too complicated for our duo as they are met by other denizens of hell. They have come to tamper with their lives and change the status quo of hell in the process. And how it will end depends on what Ina decides, and given her temperament she might choose to sacrifice herself for that.
Although, there is a much more important issue of one of them possibly dying in the future as we see other devils have taken Junah hostage. Meanwhile, Junah doesn’t even know what has happened to him, for he only remembers going out with someone he had just met. That should have been his cue that things were about to get worse for him fast.

Call Me the Devil Chapter 55 had the perpetrator finally introduced himself as Simon. He will soon be making an offer to Ina. However, Ina is worried about the situation with Junah and asks for his whereabouts. And like the good villain he was, he explains the situation to Ina and then present her with a deal.
Junah wakes up from his sleep only to find himself cuffed to a bed and no means to move his body. He asks the lady in front of him if she could free him, relying on his charm. However, things become a bit complicated as a familiar yet hostile face shows up, making it clear to Junah that there is no way to talk out of this one.
He is been given poison through his throat which makes him unconscious again but leaves him with a painful sensation. Meanwhile, Simon explains the situation that is occurring to Junah and the thing he needs to cure. But for her to get that cure for Junah, she must go to hell with Simon.

Call Me the Devil Chapter 55 will be the start of a flashback where we see how the Lucifer of the story became the leader of his pack. The story started with the premise of him being assimilated to this world just like everyone else among his kin. However, it didn’t go much into detail about how he assimilated into modern-day Seoul.
The story left room to speculate for the reader over how he adjusted himself to modern society. But without an explanation, it was given that the backstory will be on the way, sooner or later. And we got in much sooner all things considered. However, it is a different issue whether it was a good time to bring back that story at this moment in time.
