First serialized on April 2020, the Weekly Young Jump magazine published ten volumes by January 2023. The author, Aka Akasaka, previously wrote Kaguya-sama: Love is War, and the illustrator, Mengo Yokoyari, previously illustrated Scum’s Wish.
An anime adaptation of the manga series has been announced by Doga Kobo Studio for June 2022. The story revolves around a gynecologist named Goro, who is a big fan of the idol group B-Komachi’s Hoshino Ai, a 16-year-old girl who is a total star. The film will be released in April 2023. The director is Daisuke Hiramaki.
During a visit to his hospital, Goro couldn’t believe Hoshino Ai was expecting twins. He couldn’t tell if Goro’s bias was pregnant or not, but he knew idols were superb liars who could hide anything on stage and yet deliver an excellent performance. Even though Ai desired children, he was well aware that idols were superb liars.
As a result, Ai was born to Hoshino Ai, the girl who went into labor with Goro. Ai’s stalker beat her to death on the way home from Goro’s house following her delivery. Let’s see when chapter 117 of Oshi No Ko was released, the timings of chapter 117, and where to read it.
Oshi No Ko Chapter 116 Review
This chapter of Oshi No Ko delivers another thrilling and entertaining chapter that keeps readers in awe. As Akane struggles with the idea that Ai is better than Ruby, the chapter provides much-needed comedic relief to the manga’s usually serious and intense character development. As Akane is typically a more serious character, the humor in this chapter is especially enjoyable. She has even more admirable qualities because she stood up to Aqua’s revenge plan and took charge of the situation.
It is also interesting to see how Akane and Ruby contrast with one another. When Ruby’s rage blinds her, she aligns herself with Aqua’s revenge plan, but Akane knows Aqua better than anyone and can prevent him from getting the best of him. Readers are kept engaged by the tension between the twins and their different motivations.
This chapter also explores the characters’ past lives and relationships with one another in greater depth. In addition, Ruby’s realization that Aqua is still pursuing his revenge adds a level of emotional depth to the story, and the possibility of forgiveness and healing between the twins and their father adds another layer.

Ruby’s surprisingly enhanced acting skills throughout the audition section are one of the chapter’s few minor flaws. The chapter is marked, however, by interesting tales and fully realized characters. Although Oshi No Ko Chapter 116 is a fantastic addition to the story, it also might be the start of a longer story arc than the well-known reality TV program itself.
This chapter, which is mandatory reading for any lover of the series, highlights Akane’s importance and the readers’ love for her. This chapter is a requirement-read for all followers due to its distinctive storytelling, humor, and emotional depth.
