The Curse Season 2: What to Expect and spoilers
The group returns in The Curse for its second season, eighteen months after the daring airport escape, imprisonment, and violent denouement of the season 1 conclusion. 1985 finds Albert (performed by Allan Mustafa), Tash (played by Emer Kenny), and Sidney moving to the sunny Costa Del Sol, currently referred to as the Costa Del Crime.
Since there was no extradition treaty between the governments of the UK and Spain at that point, UK criminals utilized this region as a safe haven. Albert and Tash have utilized the gold’s revenues to build the dining establishment and hotel of their aspirations, while Sidney runs a beachside pub under the alias “Andrew.”
In the meantime, Big Mick (played by Tom Davis) is in jail awaiting trial, while Phil “The Captain” Pocket (played by Hugo Chegwin) has passed away. Big Mick is benefiting from the notoriety that comes with being officially connected to the greatest gold theft in history.
Detectives Saunders and Thread cannot make any seizures, so they have to venture beneath the ground in Spain for the purpose of learning more about the whereabouts of the priceless plunder.
It quickly becomes apparent that Spain isn’t really all that it’s cracked up to be. The risks are greater, the crooks are more frightening, and vultures are beginning to circle.
