What is the premise of Stealer: The Treasure Keeper?
The main premise of the show is to try to apprehend “Skunk,” an infamous treasure thief who is currently at large. Even though their company’s mission is to retrieve cultural relics, an entity going by the name of “Karma” chooses to work with Skunk, which heightens the suspense and action.
Joo-won (Carter, Alice) will return to Dramaland, playing the main character, Hwang Dae-myung, an official employee who works for the cultural heritage administration.
He is notorious for being lazy, even taking naps while working, and is only strict about using all of his vacation days. He’s had a relatively tranquil work life up until this point, but when he’s suddenly accused of making out with Skunk, everything falls apart.
Who will appear in Stealer: The Treasure Keeper?
Choi Min-woo, a select group police officer who has lately been sent to a unit in the suburbs, is played by Lee Joo-woo (from Why Her). Despite the fact that her new team manages cultural properties, they are devalued, and Min-woo is intent on completely changing that for them.
On the other side, Jang Tae-in of Jo Han-chul’s (who starred in The Law Cafe) police department, formerly oversaw the division that investigated violent crimes, and he discovered cultural relics by accident. He founded Karma and is currently in charge of a covert mission to follow Skunk.
Kim Jae-won (Our Blues) plays the aggressive and stylish Shin Chang-hoon in a supporting role. Shin Chang-hoon is a police investigator with a strong sense of loyalty to the Karma Squad. We will also get to see Choi Hwa-jung (from the show Jealousy Incarnate), who plays Lee Choon-ja, Karma’s proficient hacker, since every good squad needs one.
The screenplay is said to be written by Shin Kyung-il, and filming is being overseen by PD Choi Joon-bae (from the series Mouse and Come Here and Hug Me).
