With the series released every week for the fans, everyone is curious about how to watch Bokura No Shokutake. This is a Japanese drama series that focuses on the LGBTQ+ community. The main themes of the series are drama as well as romance. In the lead, we get across a man named Yutaka. He is a salaried worker and does not like eating around just anyone.
The man also has a knack for cooking, can prepare delicious meals, and loves doing so. Soon, he gets across two brothers named Minoru and Tane, who are not of equal age. One of them is practically a child, while the other is an adult. They ask Yutaka to teach them how he makes his variety of meals with talent, precision, and taste.
We see that Yutaka’s personality will change entirely when he starts looking forward to the meals he prepares and then eats together with the brothers while sharing many ideas and chatting. There is chemistry between the two, which will be highlighted later in the season. As for the series’ cast, we witness Atsuhiro Inukai and Hiroki Iijima. They also have Seika Furuhata and Tomohiro Ichikawa, along with Ryûji Harada.
Bokura No Shokutake – Plot Details
Before meeting with the two brothers, Yutaka used to have rice balls twice daily to fill his stomach and get on with his entire day. Although, everything changes in his life as it is completely turned around upon the arrival of Ueda Minoru and Ueda Tane.
Soon, he will discover that he is great at cooking and that every meal does not have to be so bland or with no taste. We see Yutaka talking about how if a meal can not be eaten with a smile, be it very costly, it all becomes very hard to eat. Yutaka works at the OST Design Office. His life runs in the same routine every day.
Although, things take a little turn when he gets a text about his father’s 60th birthday next month. We see he does not want to attend the evening at all. Soon, we see that when Yutaka is having his regular rice bowl lunch, a kid comes running to him and asks for his rice ball.
As he shares his food, we see that the kid’s older brother comes running behind and apologizes for the food that the kid had. Although, Tane says that the food was very tasty. The next day, when Yutaka meets with the duo again, we see that Minoru asks him to come to their place to teach him how to cook.
