Fox Entertainment Studios’ first-ever comedy series, Animal Control, will soon release a new episode this week. Revolving around Animal Control workers hailing from Seattle, this show centers on the everyday lives of all employees, who realize that predicting animal behavior is much easier than predicting human behavior.
The show has been airing since February 16th, 2023, and has been ordered for around ten episodes for its first season. Animal Control has been created by Bob Fisher (Traffic Light, We’re The Millers), Rob Greenberg, and Dan Sterling (The Office, South Park). With such great creators behind each episode, it’s no surprise that most episodes have been collecting more than 1 million viewers weekly.
Animal Control’s main cast consists of the actors Joel McHale in the role of Frank Shaw, Vella Lovell as Emily Price, Michael Rowland plays the role of Fred Taylor, Ravi V. Patel plays Amit Patel, and Victoria Sands is portrayed as Grace Palmer. The sitcom is a single-camera series, and filming mostly occurs in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Animal Control Episode 7: Recap
In the previous episode titled “Peacocks and Pumas,” we see Frank taking the pranks further by putting Victoria’s condo up for sale. Betty, the real estate agent, kicks over the “house for sale” sign right in front of Victoria. Emily comes in with an intra-department memo that informs that one of the officers was injured while on a mission.
Frank and Fred go out on a call and discuss Fred’s recent breakup with Camila. Fred expresses his love for the way Victoria and Frank flirt, which he says should be called Dark flirting. They get a call for a peacock disturbance and head to the area. After they arrive at the house, the owners are already aware of the reason they might have been called.
The couple had recently adopted a very vocal pet peacock. Its frequent calls cause the neighbors to be frustrated, and as soon as they see Animal Control, they ask them to take the peacock with them. Fred and Frank request the people there to be calm, but things get out of hand, and one of the neighbors hits Fred’s head with a bag full of melons.
After returning from the call, Fred goes home since the neighborhood fight left him with a concussion. Emily asks someone to accompany him to monitor for any seizures. Patel volunteers to help him out with some video games and Thai food. The food that Patel orders ends up being too spicy, and Fred’s health gets worse. When Emily arrives at Fred’s house, she asks Patel to stop the video games and instead play something calmer, like board games.
Victoria and Frank head over to the Peacock spot to record the peacock’s calls. To take away the pet legally, they would need at least a 3-5 minute long voice recording of it making noise. While they’re there, Victoria suggests that Frank’s Prank issues could be because he wants to keep people a certain distance away from him. Victoria Pranks him once again with flour and even sends out a state-wide alert to get back at him.
