ABC’s hit medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy, will be returning with a new episode this week. With a major emergency operation happening at the hospital, Dr. Addison being injured and two older women finding out that they have gonorrhea all happening at once, the last episode was quite the ride for fans of the medical show.
Airing on television since 2005, Grey’s Anatomy continues to release new episodes each year, with the most recent season airing on October 6th, 2022. It began with the episode titled “Everything Has Changed” and has been ordered for about 20 episodes this season. The plot of Grey’s Anatomy began with a focus on Meredith Grey’s life as she joins a new hospital, but after almost 19 installments, the show now centers on the lives of many people that work at Grey Sloan Memorial.

What Happened in Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 Episode 12?
In the previous episode, we see the hospital’s workload increasing due to the chaotic protests. Dr. Addison is quickly sent to the emergency room along with another pregnant patient who was caught up in the protests. Grey Sloan Memorial goes on a lockdown, where only the essential hospital members and trauma patients are allowed to come in.
The injured pregnant patient informs the doctors that she doesn’t want to deliver the baby just yet as it needs more time, but seeing how tense the situation was, the doctors end up in a dilemma. After Dr. Addison’s shoulder is treated, she shows up in the pregnant women’s operation room and lets the doctors know that it’s best to perform a C-section to help the baby as well as the mom.
Miranda’s husband and another first responder show up at the hospital. Another patient named Mrs. Douglas shows up at the hospital with a swollen knee. Her friend, Max, who comes with her suggests she needs a hip replacement. This makes Mrs. Douglas reveal that even Max needed treatment for UTI. Tia’s husband finally contacts the hospital and they let her know that the baby was delivered successfully.
When Norma’s reports come back, the doctors perform an aspiration on the knee. Dr. Addison continues working despite the pain and the other doctors start noticing it. Seeing the mess the hospital was going through, Dr. Yasuda starts having an anxiety attack. She is unable to let go of the fact that she was so close to death with the clinic being attacked nowhere.
Max and Norma are later informed that both of them have gonorrhea and are told to contact the people they’ve been in contact with. To their surprise, both of them end up calling the same person.
