The recent episode opens up with a hooded mysterious man, who along with him brings Brodd and some other men in order to tell Olmar that he will not be accepted as the king’s guard, but when they find out that Olmar can not even cut a pig properly, Brodd and others could not help but laugh on Brodd.
This was a good chance for Brodd, who wishes to mock Olmar, who find his face to look stupid, and it seems like the hooded man is also fine with all that, but when Brodd and other tries to approach Olmar, the hooded man says that their face is also as stupid as him.

Later in the chapter, Brodd approaches Olmar, introduces himself to him, and also says that there is a message for Olmar from Wulf. Considering all his skills and the behavior of this guy, Olmar says that he already knows that he will be able to make it as the king’s guard, but Brodd explains that he still needs to deliver his message to him.
Brodd reveals Olmar’s request to join a king’s guard, the captain’s request to the high orders according to him, although because of his weak sword skills, the captain says that Olmar still needs some improvements. Although Brodd says that they are feeling sad about what happened, at the same time finding it hard to hold their laughs.
When they were laughing really hard, Brodd says there is nothing to feel sad about it because Olmar can not even win against a mere pig. Brodd continues to mock Olmar by saying there is a position for a cook in the king’s landing and he can apply for that, but at the same time says that he might not be suitable for it, because he can not even cut a pig.
When things go so far because Brodd and others can’t hold their laughs, Olmar puts out his sword and points it towards Brodd and others stating that worriers only answer insults with their swords, this makes their laugh even louder, and when Olmar tries to swing his sword, Brodd manages to dodge it, where Brodd warns him that even if he is weak, he can still hurt someone with that sword, which makes Olmar angrier.
We see Thorgill who when eating hears a commotion and people saying that there is a fight of five vs five going on in the backyard.
