The plot of the series follows the Ferrone family as they experience the life of the Aussie family as they travel through time and stay in the same era for sixty-nine days through 150 years of Australian history.
The series shows the social, economic, and historical changes that have taken place over the years. The kids have also matured and grown up from the last time the series Back In Time For Dinner premiered. They will go further back in time and would be starting back in the 1850s era. Mrs. Ferrone also revealed how all the hard labor fell on the shoulders of the women in the family while they weren’t allowed to socialize with the customers in the front.
She also revealed how the lack of equal rights affected her daughters the most. The series stars Annabel Crabb, a veteran politician, as the host of the series under whose direction the Ferrone family experiences the shopping experience in the earlier era. The series stars the Ferrone family with Carol Ferrone, her spouse Peter and their three kids together, including Sienna, Julian, and Olivia.
