Ichinose Family’s Deadly Sins revolves around their lives, or rather the part of their lives that the entire family has forgotten after being involved in a car accident, and it seems like their past is catching up with them.
A middle-school student, Tsubasa Ichinose, wakes up in the hospital to find he has no recollection of anything and that he was injured in an accident, but luckily is able to reunite with his family. Unfortunately, his family- sister, parents, and grandparents are all in the same boat as him, having amnesia because of the shock from the accident.
Now, they have to return back to their lives whilst hoping that immersing themselves in a familiar environment will help them regain their memories, but then strange incidents happen. These unideal happenings indicate that the Ichinose family’s lives were far from normal, then the question arises, should they really remember their past? Or will the past’s truth really break the family?
The series proceeds with some secrets being revealed, but only to add up more to the mystery surrounding the odd family.
The Ichinose Family’s Deadly Sins Episode 14 Recap
Tsubasa is frustrated and suspects Minako to have remembered something. He pours out his doubts and vexation to her, telling her that he expects them to have lost their memories twice, and implores her to tell him the truth. Minako confesses what she has remembered.
Apparently, Tsubasa’s dad Kakeru was having an affair with another woman for about two years. Minako also loses her cool and says that she never wanted to remember this piece of information because of how horrible it made her feel.
She says she would have been better off not remembering this to Tsubasa’s horrified countenance. She also tells him that he always goes and pokes his nose into a business that doesn’t concern him and requests him not to tell anyone of this information.
Tsubasa’s mom leaves there, and Tsubasa heads back home alone, where the fake Kakeru finds him trying to search for what affair means and tells him to stop worrying as he would never be a cheater or betray. He confronts Tsubasa and tells him to remember how he used to just turn the side-eye to everything in the family.
Tsubasa has flashbacks of how he really used to ignore the bleak afternoons in the family where no one even looked at each other and went on with their lives without acknowledging one another. He wanted to enjoy the present because he feared if everyone regained their past memories, everything would go back to how it was.
He is desperate to remember who he was and how his family was, even through his fears of the worst. While the fake Tsubasa warns him that if he tries to remember, he might end up losing his memories all over again.
Tsubasa goes to chase after his mom to try and make her see that they can make things right as long as they are together as a family. The end scene of the chapter shows Minako approach Kenta and ask him to play.
The Ichinose Family’s Deadly Sins Episode 15 Summary
The newest installment, titled ‘Minako’s Disappearance,’ is supposed to put light on the reason why Minako approaches Kenta to play with him. Apparently, she wishes to harm Kenta to upset Kakeru and Kenta’s mother- the woman Kakeru cheated on her with.
But, she instead is too late to act upon her plans, and real Kakeru mistakes her for coming to return Kenta instead. Could this incident have something to do with Minako’s sin?
Tsubasa, who is on his way to try and find his mother, attempts to ask her about their past lives and what she remembered and tries his hardest to remember himself. But, things might not go as well as he expects after regaining his memories, as he could go into depression. Also, his regaining his memories holds the chance that everyone loses their memories all over again.
Tsubasa bonds with his mother, and Minako remembers a diary. She comes home to find it, and when she looks through it, she finds that the events listed in the diary do not make sense. How can she write about meeting Kenta when it was her first time seeing the kid that day?
And there is also an apology note to Tsubasa, which strikes up some past memories to flash in her mind. Fake Kakeru turns up and informs her that her time is up, to which she begs for a last chance to see Tsubasa.
