A cozy and heartening series about family and love, and dreams, Heartland is surely a lovely addition to our watch playlists. With an ensemble cast and characters depicting various values and goals in life, this series tries its best to give us a real and beautiful experience of joy that gushes through our hearts.
Even though the series is based on a small ranch in the countryside, some characters are larger than life with huge aspirations in life. One such character is Georgiana, or Georgie, as she is fondly called by her family members.
Georgie In Heartland: Her Story
Georgie is a young girl and an orphan with a long history of getting into scrapes and leaving her foster family at the drop of a hat. This behavior of hers causes a lot of problems in her life as well as the lives of others around her.
The grandfather Jack once finds her hidden in the loft and takes the call of fostering her till the time a suitable family is found for her. However, this does not happen, and it appears to the family that Georgie will have to leave the ranch.
Not wanting to leave the poor child alone and without the love of her family, Lou, and her husband, Peter decides to take her in and be her foster parents. Later, the couple adopts Georgie, and she officially becomes a part of the family. Georgie loves Heartland and gets integrated with the family really quickly.
She is also a witty young girl and always on her feet. Known for her stubborn persona, she is truly a force to be reckoned with. Georgie is a loved character in the show, although she does not form a part of the main character cast. She can be seen in the series from season 6 onwards.
Her background story is such that her parents died in a car accident, leaving her behind alone when she was just three years old. Her behavioral problems start after this unfortunate incident in her life. Her character is fiercely independent and intrepid.
It is very much conspicuous that she will prove to be an excellent young woman, which she does. Georgie is also an active girl, and she is a natural at horse riding and outdoor sports and activities. With the scenes filmed on her and her entire character arc, the viewer can discern that Georgie is a big old dreamer and aspires to be an Olympian.
As is common in rural areas, women and girls are poised to be quite feminine and gentle from a young age. However, Georgie does not fit into this stereotype. She is more of a tomboy and has interests that can be called non-feminine. She is also quite bold and confident in her own skin.
Who Does Georgie End Up With In Heartland?
Georgie has been involved in several relationships throughout her adolescent and young adult phases. Her first experience with romance starts when she falls for her tutor Adam Parker who is introduced in season 9 of Heartland. He is the teacher to Georgie who guides her in Math.
At the beginning of their relationship, Georgie is a bit cold towards Adam, and they do not get along that well at the start. However, as time passes by, Adam and Georgie come closer and start enjoying their friendship which turns into the sensation of love. As much as we find this lovely, they break up soon and part ways as friends.
After this, Georgie gets into a relationship with Wyatt McMurtry, but this also does not last long. Georgie also has a crush on Dylan Westfield, but their story does not go long enough.
Their latest relationship with Georgie is with Quinn. They end up together in season 13 of Heartland. Quinn McGregor is a really sweet boy, and their relationship blooms eventually in the further seasons of Heartland.
He is a jumping coach, and he encourages Georgie to go after her dreams of being a part of the Olympics. It is absolutely delightful to see Quinn and Georgie as they grow with each other and become closer as their love progresses. This relationship of Georgie’s is the strongest till now because they are a very strong and dependable team, a perfect pair, so to speak.
