The chapter starts with Remilia and Angel (Demon king) preparing to call Lady Renge. At the shrine, Remilia placed the flower on the water to summon the goddess of purification. She gave her Lady Renge; it was much smaller in size than before. The goddess of purification said that the king of demons, the source of a god’s life, is faith, so long as their very core wasn’t lost, whilst some kept faith in them, they could come back in time again.

That was how her father was able to resurrect like that; it was all a testament to how even in the darkest of times, the demon never lost faith in him. And as her daughter Angel had her sincerest gratitude. Angel bent down on his knee and told her that she did him too much honor. It was only through the magnanimous gilding hand of their creator that the demons were able to live in the inhospitable land.

However, the goodness of purification apologized to Angel for not being able to help him recuperate, which brought them unimaginable pain. She asked him why he did not hate her for betraying their faith. When it began, some thought the gods had abandoned them. But those who received the blessing of various divinities could feel the power of the god gods had begun to weaken.

And when that feeling of divine protection vanished together, they could instinctively tell that the god who had blessed them had perished. It wasn’t that the gods had abandoned them but that something had happened to shake the house of the gods themselves. That was when the lord of the havens was drunk with power after the imprisonment of Lady Renge. As the gods began to die, so did the demons that had faith in them. But even with things in such a dire state, some demons still kept their faint in her father.

It wasn’t possible without Remilia slaying the lord of the heavens. Therefore, the goddess of purification grants her the title “Purification Maiden.” Remilia didn’t know what that title was, but she could not directly tell that to the goddess. She told her that she was not worthy enough for the title. Angel (Demon king) smiled at her and told her that he thought there wasn’t any title that could be more suitable for her than that.
