This popular anime has a huge fan base and, due to its interesting plotline, is still attracting new watchers. There are more than 700 episodes available for the watchers to enjoy, but there are also many fillers that are known to be not so favored by the viewers.
The anime is adapted from the manga, which is written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The story follows the journey and adventure of a boy named Naruto, who dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The manga has been compiled in a set of 72 volumes. It is known as one of the best-selling manga series in history, having 250 million copies in circulation all over the globe.
Kishimoto has won the hearts of children and adults alike with his series about the tale of the bot who overcomes all the trouble that he faces in his life with a positive attitude and dedication to do the same. Naruto fans are aware of the fact that Naruto has the nine-tailed fox sealed inside him, and he is the one who first breaks the seal.
In Which Episode Did Naruto Remove The Seal?
Naruto removes the seal himself in episode number 16 of season 1. This happened because Naruto and Sasuke were engaged in a fierce battle against Haku. They were on the losing side and had trouble against Haku. Naruto becomes incapable of fighting after giving it his best for a long time. This takes a toll on his body as this was their first serious mission, and Naruto had not received any formal training that made his skills stronger.
Sasuke awakens his Sharingan in this fight, and in order to save his friend and teammate, he willingly uses his body to protect Naruto, who is vulnerable to Haku’s attacks. After seeing his friend badly injured in the process of saving him, Naruto felt extreme rage, and at that moment, the seal was broken. Viewers could see the fiery red auro that surrounded Naruto from that point on as it was indicative of the nine-tails chakra leaking out.

Does Naruto Become Friends With The Nine-Tails?
Viewers will see that Naruto and Kurama do not get along well in most of the series. Kurama, the nine-tailed fox, wants to get out of his body as soon as possible, and this leads to some tension between the two. However, in one of the most striking episodes, we see both of them join hands during the fourth great shinobi war.
This actually happens in episode number 329 of the Naruto Shippuden series, which is titled Two Man Team. The friendship might seem odd to a few people, but the trust was built by Naruto over the years when he showed kindness and compassion to Kurama. Kurama himself witnessed the growth of Naruto over the years and watched him struggle.
Another contributing factor to their friendship was Son Goku, the Four Tail beast who received help from Naruto and found out that Naruto was just like Rikudo Sennin or the Sage of Six Paths. In doing so, Kurama starts to see Naruto as the reincarnation of the old man who all the tailed beasts love. At this point, Naruto breaks the seal completely, and Kurama is now not captive anymore. He chooses to stay with Naruto, and they become friends.
The episode was really loved by the fans, and after such a long time, they got to see the both of them join hands. The seal was finally broken, and Kurama became an ally of Naruto, making him stronger than ever. The journey, along with the friendship that fans witness from this emotional roller-coaster of an anime, makes the entire experience unforgettable.
