Wayans stated that he followed the instructions and consolidated two bags into one, but then he was instructed to check the bag.

Marlon Wayans dragged into a conflict over baggage
Marlon Wayans took to Instagram to share a video where he displayed numerous bags he was carrying and voiced his frustration towards a specific staff member. In the video, he criticizes United Airlines, expressing, “Most agents are always love, but every now and then, you come across BAD PEOPLE.” This was one of them. This type of employee should never work at your company.”
This disagreement ensued when Wayans was requested to check his bag, which led to a confrontation with a staff member. As a result, Wayans was charged with disturbing the peace on the flight, a charge filed by the Denver Police Department.
Wayans used Twitter to discuss the treatment of first-class passengers, including himself. He refuted the assault allegations raised by the flight attendant and shared a news article concerning the incident. Wayans firmly asserted that he did not make physical contact with the staff member and characterized the entire ordeal as “harassment.”
Expressing his discontent, he expressed his intention to pursue legal action and advised his family and close friends against selecting United Airlines for their future travels. Wayans concluded his statement by demanding an apology and stating his determination to directly contact the leadership of the company.

The comedian shared a screenshot of TMZ’s article about the incident on his Instagram, adding his own remarks. He further accused the gate agent of dishonesty. Witnesses, as reported by TMZ, claimed that Wayans slammed his ticket on the counter and attempted to board the plane.
Although a gate agent allegedly tried to prevent him, they were unsuccessful, resulting in the employee calling security. Subsequently, Wayans was requested to deplane and was escorted away, as shown in the footage of leaving the gate.
In a statement, Wayans expressed disbelief at the accusation made against him, stating, “The guy tried to lie and claim I assaulted him. The video clearly proves that I never laid a hand on him. He was desperate to assert some authority.”
Wayans went on to highlight his extensive flying experience, having accumulated over 15,000,000 miles, and emphasized that he seldom encountered problems. He further mentioned that those who are familiar with him can attest to his calm demeanor, asserting that the agent in question was clearly picking him out.
Additionally, Wayans shared a picture of another passenger’s luggage, asserting that the individual boarded the flight with three bags. Wayans specifically mentioned that the passenger in the clip was white.
