The Devil is a Part-Timer! Episode Recap
A mystery woman on Ente Isla enters the deserted Devil King’s castle and transforms a solitary plant into energy before delivering it to Earth. While visiting Bell, Emilia makes fun of Maou, Alciel, and Urushihara for being poor in one of their typical arguments. Before going for his job at MgRonald’s, Maou feels an odd presence in the building. In the household, where they can also sense something, Alciel tries to demonstrate to Urushihara how to tidy up. When the monster in the home starts to attack Urushihara, he is diverted from his attempt to clean up.
Chiho wants to go to Maou’s house once their shift is over, but Maou does not really want her to go because of the “something” in the house. When it starts to rain, and they have to share an umbrella, he reluctantly agrees. The “object” is later identified as a roach, which begins to terrify everyone before Bell kills it.
Above the structure, a gateway from Ente Isla suddenly opens, and a giant apple appears from it. After a confrontation between Maou and Emilia, Emilia attempts to strike him using her Holy Sword, but arms appear from the apple to block her. They take the transformed apple—a young girl—inside. When questioned about who her parents are, she introduces herself as Alas Ramus and gestures to Maou and Emilia, greatly shocking everyone.
After the discovery, the group tries to decide what to do regarding Alas Ramus, thinking that since her name is an Ente Islan name, she isn’t really related to the angels. Maou consents to let her remain and look after her at their home. Later, Chiho purchases baby necessities for Alas Ramus in an effort to help herself out and as a result of her ongoing anxiety over not having heard back from Maou over her confession. Suzuki is given tickets to the theme park Tokyo Big-Egg Town so that they can go together after Emilia talks to her about the conflict between Suzuki, Maou, and Alas Ramus.
Due to a miscommunication, Chiho and Suzuna bring Alas Ramus to visit Maou at work, resulting in a small scandal. Maou and Chiho are spoken to by the manager, Kisaki, who advises them to take greater care with how they appear. Chiho accepts Maou’s gratitude for all of her assistance and his apology that he can’t yet respond to her confession. Maou receives tickets from Kisaki to Tokyo Big-Egg Town, giving the gang a total of 6 members.
The girl insists, and Emilia grudgingly agrees to accompany Maou and Alas Ramus to the park. Alciel, Chiho, and Suzuki make the decision to covertly accompany the three on their “date” on the day of the trip. Urushihara detects the entrance of an army and an angel who is trying to rebuild the “Tree of Life” through a gate.
When Emilia asks Maou how long he plans to care for Alas Ramus while purchasing a cap at the theme park, he responds that he has no plans to return to his army and still intends to command the remaining demons, which confounds her. A crescent on Alas Ramus’ head reappears when they view a hero display, requiring them to leave.
After Maou has left, a mystery woman with white hair enters, and she uses a ring to aid Alas Ramus to feel less agony. She advises Emilia to be cautious of “Gabriel” and pretends to be an ally, despite the fact that Emilia is dubious of her. When Maou returns, she is gone.
