Every person has once in their lifetime, taken a shampoo bottle and sung their heart out in the shower, imagining themselves to be on the stage of The Voice, while all the judges have turned their chairs and given you a standing ovation. Lovely picture, right?
The Voice is an American singing reality show under the production house NBC. The singers compete to join their favorite coach’s team and ultimately win the competition. However, NBC had slightly changed its format for the recently released Season 22. Camila Cabello is the newest addition to the judges’ panel. Along with her, the three other judges are Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and John Legend.
The Voice Season 22 premiered on 19 September 2022, beginning with a blind audition. In this segment, the coach can choose an artist they would like to work with. The judges also have one chance to ‘block’ another judge from having an artist. A total of 14 artists would form a team under each coach, taking the complete count to 56. The competition is intense.
The Voice Season 22 Episode 3 Recap
The Voice Season 22 Episode 3 was released on 26 September, 8:00 P.M (ET). The star of this episode was Morgan Taylor, a 20-year-old, for whom all the four judges turned their chairs; with Blake doing it in less than 10 seconds. She performed on Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You and amazed everybody. Unfortunately for other judges, Morgan chose John Legend as her coach. Go Team Legend!
Madison Hughes performed on Bob Dylan’s Knocking on Heavens’ Door. Three judges, including Camilla, Gwen, and Blake turned their chairs, but she ultimately chose Blake Shelton.
Camilla Cabello finally got Sasha Hurtado surpassing John Legend. Sasha’s performance was dominating and brilliant.

The audience finally got to see a swiftie when Cara Brindisi performed the iconic song All Too Well by Taylor Swift. Her voice was graceful, and she sang exquisitely. Given the fact that this song delivers a beautiful storyline, Cara made this performance perfect. The married duo Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton turned their chairs for her, but in the end, Cara went with her gut and chose Gwen. Always listen to your gut. This duo would make the perfect team.
The next contestant that comes up is Valarie Harding, who sings a powerful version of the song Giving Him Something He Can Feel by En Vogue. The song was beautiful, and the voice modulations were epic. Gwen and John both turned their chairs. The choice was definitely tough, but ultimately, Valarie went to Team Legend.
The classic Britney Spears song Baby One More Time was sung by the eighteen-year-old teenager Ava Lynn Thuresson who produced a beautiful rendition of the song. Her cover was “angsty and grungy” (commented by Camilla). Camilla and John both fought for her but she, in the end, went with Camilla.
There were many other artists like Julia Aslanli, Billy Craver, and the first duo of the season The Dryes who were chosen by different judges. Other contestants performed beautifully but yet had to go back. However, hope shouldn’t be lost. They should come back next year with more practice and more vigor, and then they will definitely be a part of one of these teams. Liam Payne is an example.

There has been no snippet given by NBC on who are the contestants next in line. The winner would take home a cheque of $100,000 and, even better than that, a record deal with Universal Music Group.
