Helck manga has finally gotten an anime adaptation this summer 2023 season, and fans of the Shounen manga are quite excited to see their favorite manga anime adaptation on screen. The manga has already ended, so they are expecting that the anime could freely animate many significant arcs from the manga without leaving any potential characters.
Helck is scheduled for a 24-episode anime, so fans are truly getting their share of favorite arcs from the manga, as most anime adaptations with 12 episodes could not do justice to the source manga because of the lack of time. Helck follows the story of a lone hero who once defeated the strongest and most powerful demon lord. The human army seized the opportunity to enter the demon lord’s castle and took control of his possessions.
Which marked the victory of humans against the Demon Lord and his forces. Humans celebrated their victory by throwing parties and parades as they finally managed to free themselves from the fear of the Demon Lord.
After three months, the Demon realm organized a fierce competition to choose their next Demon Lord. Vermilio, one of the four elite lords of the empire, was put in charge as the manager of the competition, while Hon took charge as the sub-manager for the competition.
The two of them were handling the tournament, and they were already done with the preliminary rounds. One particular contestant caught Vermilio’s eye; she was able to sense his unfathomable powers.
Hon informed her that the particular contestant was Helck. He was considered the champion of the competition. He managed to successfully pass the preliminary round with amazing results, but Helck belonged to the human realm. Vermilio was shocked after learning that a human was fighting to be on the Demon Lord’s throne. Hon informed her that Helck was a human, but he despised humans, which set him apart from other humans.
Since they did not specify the race that could participate in the competition, it was no surprise that Helck, being a human, decided to take part in the competition. Vermilio, however, did not approve of Helck as their Demon Lord’s successor because she considered humans to be their mortal enemies.
