The release date of the South Korean reality competition show, Peak Time episode 6, has been announced. Peak Time released its first episode on February 15, 2023. The show has attracted quite some attention from viewers all around the world. The viewers are loving the performances performed by the different groups. They are also liking the prep process of each group, which is shown in detail, in the show.

Peak Time is produced by JTBC and hosted by Lee Seung-gi. The show consists of 24 teams and eight K-pop idol judges. The judges are Cho Kyu Hyun (Super Junior), Jay Park, Tiffany Young (Girls’ Generation), Lee Gi Kwang (Highlight), Kim Sung Gyu (Infinite), Ryan S Juhn, Song Min Ho (WINNER) and Moon Byul (Mamamoo).

The reality show gives K-pop boy bands the chance to compete for the title of “Worldwide Idol” while showcasing their talents to audiences around the globe. These boy band members are the members who have made their debut in the K-pop industry once upon a time or were part of a disbanded band.

The final six teams in the competition will receive a unique perk that will allow them to reveal their team’s name while performing throughout the show and a concert. The winning team will also receive ₩300 million as prize money as well as an album release and a chance for the international showcase.

Therefore, it is quite obvious that viewers are curious to know which teams will win the show. Peak Time Episode 5 Recap

In the previous episode, episode 4, which premiered on March 8, 2023, the 16 teams were divided into 4 ‘Alliances’ and were divided into Vocal, Rap, and Dance teams. The Vocal unit consisted of six members, the Rap unit of five members, and the Dance unit of no fixed number of members.

Alliance ‘A’ included Team 18:00 (BDC), Team 2:00 (NTX), Team 9:00 (BLITZERS), and Team 5:00 (ATBO). Alliance ‘B’ included Team 23:00 (DGNA), Team 20:00 (M.O.N.T.), Team 21:00 (24K), and Teams 8:00 (DKB). Alliance ‘C’ included Team 15:00 (BLK), Teams 11:00 (VANNER), Team 24:00 (soloists), and Team 13:00 (BAE173). Alliance ‘D’ included Team 14:00 (GHOST9), Team 1:00 (DIGNITY), Team 4:00 (BXB), and Team 7:00 (MASC).

Episode 5 of Peak Time opens with the contestants rigorously preparing for their performances. In the meantime, it is announced that the alliance that will win the battle of the day will be rewarded with two 2% of all the votes. It is further announced that there will be a special set of 25 judges, apart from the show’s judges, who will choose one MVP from each category – Vocal, Rap, and Dance. Furthermore, each MVP’s team will also be rewarded with five percent of all the votes.

After the announcement, the battle of the day begins. It starts with the performances of the Rap units. The first performance is put up by Rap Unit ‘C,’ who performs on (G)I-DLE’s “My Bag.” Their performance was followed by Beenzino’s “If I Die Tomorrow,” performed by Rap Unit ‘A.’ Next, Rap Unit ‘D’ perform on Song Mino (WINNER)’s ‘Fiancé,’ followed by Rap Unit ‘B’s performance on Supreme Team’s “Dang Dang Dang.”

All the teams were highly appreciated for their energy-filled performances and prominent stage presence. After some discussions among the judges, Rap Unit ‘B’ earns 790 points and is declared the winner of the battle. The Rap Unit ‘C’ came in second with 761 points, followed by Rap Unit ‘A’ with 713 points, and Rap Unit ‘D’ with 691 points.

The episodes end with the performance of Vocal Unit ‘C,’ who put up a performance on BTOB’s “Way Back Home.”

Peak Time Episode 6 Release Date

Peak Time episode 6 will be premiered on March 15, 2023, at 10:30 pm KST (Korea). The schedule for the international audience is given below:

  • Thailand Standard Time: 8:30 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
  • China Standard Time: 9:30 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
  • Japan Standard Time: 10:30 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
  • British Standard Time (Britain): 2:30 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
  • Australian Standard Time (Australia): 12:30 am, Thursday, March 16, 2023.
