Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It Season 2 Episode 12 gave us a good narrative, and while we watched the episode, we also got to learn from it. The episode continued on the rooftop, where Naoya confessed his love to Kanade. We all expected to say yes, but they rejected us unexpectedly. Naoya is stunned by her rejection and breaks down. We see him with the wrong intentions in his eyes. Meanwhile, Professor Kanou from Touri describes how there is something always has been wrong with Naoya. Naoya approaches Kanade aggressively; however, as Kanade always does, she unintentionally uses her defense technique to collapse him down.
Naoya gets angreier due to this and uses a taser to tase kanade and make her unconcius. When Naoya wakes up, she finds herself in a strange place with Naoya and the other four boys who look like delinquents. She also finds herself that her hands and legs are tied with a rope. When Kanade suggests that something is wrong with Naoya, he counter tells her that Kanade would never reject him if she was normal—making her think that she is not normal. Naoya tells her about her past that how his parents beat him every day and eventually abandoned him. Naoya thinks that it is up to him to reform her to be normal.
Yukimura Saves The Day
Just as when we see Naoya and other boys approach Kanade aggressively, Yukimura enters through the door. He says that he was worried about Kanade, and when he overheard Professor Kanou from Touri University about Naoya, he went to look for them. He used data analytics and smartness to pinpoint the location where boys like Naoya would go to. Naoya tells him that Kanade is not normal, and they are reforming her to be normal. However, Yukimura tells him there is no such thing as being normal or not. They are just humans made up of DNA and cells that form one single Organism. He explains them through a PPT.
In the scenes, he also shows Kanade a video made by her colleagues from the university that shows how normal she is. There was also a clip from Takashi sensei, Kanade’s teacher from the previous university, that she never hurt him. It was always her reflexes against threats. The delinquets beat Yukimura. However, Yukimura gets up and threatens them with harmful acids. The delinquents run away, and Yukimura tells Naoaya that he did all of this so he could buy some time while the police arrive.
