After about 6 months, he returns home about a decade later to be reunited with his family in Korea. Unlike the foreign land where he was up until now, here food and shelter are plenty and everything seems very peaceful to him.

In the previous chapter, we saw that the Borays went to South Korea to make a business deal with SW Corp where Ijin works as a bodyguard. To worsen things, when the Boray family goes on a trip around the area, the Forest group, a mercenary group, attacks their caravan.

The bodyguards in the front vehicle get killed first and in no time, one by one, all the bodyguards die. This is when Sophia Boray starts to feel something for Ijin. Amidst all the chaos, he tells them to fly away but she doesn’t seem to be interested in anything except for him.

Later on, the only veteran bodyguard who was left alive also seems to be a part of the mercenary group. Now the only person who can and needs to save the Boray Children is Ijin. Ijin is surely smart and strong, but he is the only one who can fight on this end and he has to save two other people except for his own self.

According to Ijin, the mercenary group is not here to kill any of them because if that is what they intended on doing, they could have done it in no time. But they choose not to, meaning, they just plan on kidnapping the children and probably making a deal with the Boray family while keeping their children hostage.

In the end, we witness the entry of a mysterious man, the killer who had been chasing the Boray children. Looks like we will get to see some new characters in the upcoming chapters.

From where the previous chapter left us, we can predict that the readers will get to see more interactions between the mysterious figure and the main character, as well as learn more about their backstory and their relationship.

Who is this mysterious man? What does he want? Is he really his long-lost brother or he is faking it? We will know once we read the upcoming chapters.
