Considering Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221 Spoilers & Leaks, we got a FANTASTIC chapter this week. Before we reveal what is gonna happen in the upcoming chapter of the series, let’s quickly recap what happened previously in the storyline, so that we all will be fully repaired by an upcoming bang!! in Jujutsu Kaisen.
In the last chapter 220, we ended up with a bunch of our Culling Game cast, finally coming together and before that, we have now two new rules added to the rule book of the game because Kenjaku has forced Kogane to prevent any new entry into the Culling Game, that means no one, even if there is a possible Gojo return in the near future, is not possible, at least from the outside of the boundaries.
In addition to this rule, we also see that Kenjaku made sure that everyone, other than him and Megumi or Sukuna more specifically, will die in the game itself, and the game will end only if this happens.
In the previous chapter, we also find out that there are four major barriers throughout Japan, which indeed are the main foundation system of the Culling Game. We also see a mummified Sukuna, situated in one of these four barriers, where Kenjaku and Tengen visited. This was when many fans of the series believe that the rest of the five fingers Sukuna could be somewhere in the body.

Opening up this chapter starts off with Yuuji and Takaba preparing for Gojo’s Unsealing!! but also we see Hana asks him if they would unseal him in the building, so Takaba goes, sure, it may be kind of dull to have someone arrive here, and let’s decorate it with a little Origami.
So Takaba is Takaba here, but Angel is here, and that means she has recovered from her injuries and is prepared to unseal Gojo with the help of her Reverse Curse technique. Still, later she explains how the present time doesn’t run with the time in the Prison Real, this is the reason why they don’t know what Gojo felt in the last 19 days since he was sealed.

He might be just a moment or Gojo would have felt like waiting for like a hundred years and yeah I do remember when Gojo got sealed, I believe he said to himself that time doesn’t pass inside, so thus Angel is worried about Gojo’s mental state.
Prison Realm Disappeared!
With this Shoko says that if any case he is confused then it could be really dangerous to unseal Gojo, and with this, we get a hilarious panel, where Yuuji and others imagine Gojo going berserk and say it might be dangerous, LMAO!! I love the mini drawing of Gojo there.
This also ties back to most of the fandom’s thoughts as well, I know a lot of you guys predicted that Gojo would be enraged if heard and knew about everything that happened from the moment he got sealed, but on the next page, we see that they are taking precautions just in case, it was like they are in terrain, hiding behind the cover, it is like Gojo’s unsealing some sort of dynamite ready to blow off.
Honestly guys, I really loved this it is one of those top-of-the-line serious cliches, it is very refreshing to get a moment like this after all the hard-fought Culling Game battles, I mean it is not very over the top because I assume they have to be in an open space given how Angel’s Curse Technique activated.
This is also why Hana suggested not unsealing Gojo in the initial building but also Peep mini Panda taking cover with Kirara and others, and he was to crawl over the barrier since he is too small, and as soon as Angel uses his curse technique and everyone slowly approaches, but nothing is there.
Prison Realm disappears and Hana tries to explain it and says that this is not her fault and that maybe Gojo might have turned evil thus her light curse technique could have made him disappear, obviously given everyone’s reaction to the theory, it is definitely not the case, where Shoko with the sunglasses is killing me.
Gojo Got Unsealed
This was when everyone suddenly feels a quake, and it shows a perspective where we see Kenjaku saying that he put the Prison Realm 8000 meters deep in a trench, just so Gojo gets unsealed, but then the next page of the double spread of Satoru Gojo getting unsealed from the box, as he and Kenjaku face each other down at the trenches.

Let’s freaking go guys, but what on earth just happened, Gojo looks clean as hell, and his face also looks so serious. As Kenjaku tries to continue irritating Gojo, Gojo tells Kenjaku to choose his words carefully, because this will be his final moment.
This was when someone interrupted the fight between Kenjaku and Gojo, yes, you guessed it absolutely right, this was none other than Ryomen Sukuna, BRO! WHAT IS THIS CHAPTER!!!
Looking at Gojo’s new appearance, Gojo says, “You changed from a while ago, Megumi”. Oh my god, Gojo is not playing any more games guys, the look in his eyes, is right here right now, Gojo versus Sukuna round two is happening.
ok so who’s gonna tell Gojo about Nanami, Yaga, and NobaraOn top of that Sukuna is in the body of Megumi trying back to the early foreshadowing of a Gojo Clan user fighting a Ten Shadow user in the ancient past then he recalled when Sukuna took over Gojo’s body he would first kill Gojo, but now Sukuna says that it turned out to be this brat’s body, but he will kill him anyway.
Gojo Vs. Sukuna
Gojo ridiculously says to Sukuna saying that the guy who ran away from Yuuji’s acting almighty and it is very pitiful to hear. Yo, the trash-talking between the two strongest characters of the series too though we never see the day that trash-talking anger Uraeme and they come in to attack but Gojo just sends her flying with a single punch. Yo Uraeme, what were you trying to do bro, you are just out of the league.
To be honest, her or him getting punched by Gojo is so satisfying after what they did with Yuuji several chapters ago, also Gojo in the t-shirt, wow, it looks so savage and strong, I swear that this appearance of Gojo was actually foreshadowed or shown in the volume extra.
This was when Kenjaku interrupts him and says that he must have to finish his promise before he high it, but Gojo thinks that he also has some work to do before fighting, and Sukuna agrees to Kenjaku’s demand.
Okay so obviously we do not have the full translation yet, and I don’t even know if that plan gets stated in this chapter but assume that it might be probably something to do with the merger of Tengen and humanity, somehow Sukuna needs to be involved or something.
Moving on, Gojo purposes their fight to retake December 24, yes, on the same day when the Night Parade of a hundred demons happened, the day Getto lost and it should be noted that currently, it is November 19th in the manga right now, so I do not know if Gojo chose this date because it not only gives him time to regroup with the gang but it is also an ironic day for when Getto lost, where he also says that, “Yeah Kenjaku, you are gonna lose that day too”.
In addition, we can also assume that maybe in some way if and when Kenjaku loses Getto might come back, a year later, but probably not, I know that sounds like insane.
Future Updates
The chapter ends with a recall of when Yuuji had asked Gojo if he would beat Sukuna, and Gojo replied by saying that it would be tough if Sukuna regained all of his power, but in his mind, he replies with the same thing again, that “I will win”.
What an outstanding chapter to enter a two-week break because, yeah, guys, the entire Shonen Jump magazines are on a week’s break, and after that, Jujutsu Kaisen will be going on its separate break, but wow, Gege definitely dropped banger, there is so much I want to talk about when the chapter finally comes out on Friday, along with the release date of the upcoming chapter.
