It’s just one disaster after another for our female lead Renea as Freya tries to get close to her and Edwin while the statue of Beldemere gets stolen by the greedy lord. While Renea is dealing with so much stress, Beldemere is trying to become a good husband by following various books regarding the same. Such efforts from Beldemere are sure to put Renea at ease, but the problems remain unsolved.
In Wish Upon A Husband Chapter 15, we see a clash of thoughts between Renea and Freya as Freya tries to become Renea’s attendant. Renea manages to somehow get rid of her, but another problem arises when Beldemere’s statue gets stolen by the greedy lord.
If the statue was to be revealed to the public, then it’s possible that everyone would learn about Beldemere’s true identity. How will Renea overcome this problem? We’ll see in the future updates.
Wish Upon A Husband Chapter 15: Recap
The chapter opens up with Renea having tea at her house after sending her servant to fetch Beldemere’s statue from the town square. Freya enters the room and expresses her wish to talk to Renea. With a big smile on her face, Freya pours in some tea for Renea, and so Renea asks her what she wants to talk about. Renea wonders if Freya has stolen the gem in her room or if she found out it was fake, but Freya asks her to allow her to stay in that place. Freya wonders if Renea’s wish didn’t come true.
Renea asks Freya if she wants to live as a family with her, and Freya agrees, saying that she wants to be her attendant. Meanwhile, a psychological battle of thoughts also happens between Renea and Freya as they both try to deduce what the other person wants from all this.
Renea tells Freya that she didn’t know that she was so fond of Edwin, but Freya argues that the only person she’s fond of is her lady Renea. Renea ends up refusing Freya’s request as she already has a personal attendant and because she believes Freya would spy on her. Freya accepts the rejection and walks away with a smug face meaning she will do something in the future.
Renea gets tensed to see how rotten of a person Freya is and wonders if Edwin even knows about it. But then she wonders if they both are working together as that case is also possible. Annie enters the room but gets scared to see Renea’s serious face. She informs Renea that they couldn’t move the statue as some lord placed a sign on it claiming its ownership.
Renea gets shocked and annoyed at the same time as she thinks of how she would get the statue from the greedy lord now, as she can’t just go to him and tell him it’s hers. It’s just one tragedy after another for Renea.
Renea looks at Annie with a glaring sight which makes her freeze up as she wonders what went wrong. Renea asks Annie about Beldemere’s whereabouts, and so Annie tells her that he’s in the kitchen. Renea goes to the kitchen and smells something nice. She opens the door to find a shirtless Beldemere cooking some food which makes her startled. Renea tries to hide her blushing face, but Beldemere walks up to her and asks her to try some of his food.
Renea tells Beldemere that the food is delicious, which makes Beldemere blush, and he turns his face away from her. Renea asks Beldemere why he did leave these things to Shapiro, and so Beldemere holds her close and tells her that he wanted to be a good husband for her. Beldemere leans in and asks Renea if she would like another bite, but they get interrupted as Shapiro pops up and commends Beldemere’s cooking. Renea gets mad as she sees Shapiro smiling, meaning he did this on purpose.
