Under The Oak Tree, Chapter 66 is right around the corner, and fans are excited to know what will happen next in the series. Agnes remarked that it must have taken a lot of effort to turn a land that had been neglected for long into so prosperous. Riftan had been working day and night for the sake of Anatol without rest.
Agnes mentioned that it was the same during the camp. No one ever saw him take rest or get tired, earning him the nickname ‘Mago,’ after a monster of similar traits. He would rush headlong into danger as if he was invincible. Agnes always wondered what the Mago’s wife was like, the one the brave knight wished to return to.
Maximilian believed she was disappointed in her. After all, the wife of such an extraordinary man was so ordinary. With that, the two of them head back to the castle. The preparations for the banquet must be complete. Today, we are going to tell you about the release date and time of the next chapter and where to read it. But first, let’s have a quick recap of the last chapter.
Under The Oak Tree Chapter 65 Recap
Agnes Drachina Reuben was Wedon’s stately princess and a renowned sorceress. With her exceptional magic and unwavering courage, she had fearlessly joined the dragon campaign. She had once been engaged in marriage talks with Riftan Calypse.
It was Maximilian’s first encounter with the royal inspectorate. Riftan and her had not seen each other in weeks. Both of them were busy with their work. She was dejected that he didn’t even offer her a small gesture of affection. Suddenly, she snapped back to reality and remembered her role as a hostess.
She told Agnes that she had prepared a room for her and her attendants would be on the same floor. She wanted to be on casual terms with her and demanded the two of them should call each other by their names.
The castle had been maintained very well, and Agnes wanted to explore it further. Maximilian thought Anges was different from what she had envisioned. A maid called out to her and told her Rodrigo had requested her to inspect the food and drinks at the banquet.
Maximilian noticed that, even though Agnes’s attire was ill-suited to the royal lineage, she was as radiant as the sun, and Riftan and her were like a match made in the poems sung by bards. She wondered if there was truly nothing between them.
Agnes thanked her for the delicious meal and everything. She came down without her attendant and wished to see the castle with her, just as she promised. The view from the castle was beautiful. Agnes was expecting a grim scenery as she was told that Anatol was infected with monsters.
Under The Oak Tree Chapter 66 Expectations
