Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun Chapter 105 “Spook”: Recap
The chapter opens up with Hanako stating a rumor about their school clock. The school clock is rumored to be the embodiment of the time that flows in the school, and so if someone was to move their hands on their own, then they would get complete control over the school’s time.
Hanako and Yashiro start preparing for their Wizard of Oz performance when Nene notices that there are barely any people present in the audience.
Yashiro says that the show is about to start, so there should be more people present. Yamabuki adds that it’s not just the audience that’s Missing as they don’t have all their classmates either, like Aoi and Hanaoishi, who are both busy. Other people also add that the sound guy and Nagisa are also missing.
Yashiro decides to call Aoi to ask her where she is when suddenly a drop of some strange liquid falls on her face. Yashiro and Hanako look above and find that the school clock has turned red color and something else is leaking out of it.
Everyone freaks after seeing such a strange phenomenon, and Hanako tells Yashiro that he can sense something bad from behind the clock. It is as if there are a lot of dead bodies there.
Hanako asks Yashiro to stay back while he checks out the area, but Nene refuses to stay back alone, and so she also follows Hanako. Yamabuki also decides to check out the clock area because of his love for conspiracy stuff. He tries to open the door, but it feels jammed at first. The door opens after a while, and a horrifying and mysterious figure glares at Yamabuki from inside.
Yashiro and Hanako reach the clock area and find a gloopy substance spread all over the area. Hanako touches the liquid and finds that it’s human blood stained with the curse of death.
He wonders why anyone would do such a thing when suddenly everything becomes hazy for Hanako. He holds Yashiro’s hand and tries to run away from the area when suddenly the school clock breaks and makes them frozen in place.
Yashiro and Hanako look at each other but find themselves unable to converse or move. Suddenly Tsukasa enters the scene and starts making fun of them, and he also confirms what Hanako said at the start of the chapter. Yashiro also realizes that if the clock was the embodiment of time, then breaking it would mean that the school’s time would never evolve again.
Tsukasa says that it’s easy to fix the clock as it only requires defeating the clock keepers. He starts laughing because that’s nearly impossible. Tsukasa then approaches Yashiro and kisses her frozen face. He then picks her up and announces that she will become his assistant. Hanako watches everything with his eyes, but he still finds himself unable to move.
Hanako suppresses all his anger because he can’t do anything. After a while, two people arrive at the clock room and find Hanako crying there while being frozen.
