Isidro was confused after hearing all that; he didn’t understand any of it. Serpico told him if the Elf island was gone, together with the Great Spirit tree and all the souls that supported it. The witches lost their homes, and many started to lose their power. He told him that they were lucky that the island vanishing didn’t have any effect on them. All they could be trust in Sciherke.
Later we see Schierke getting ready for the rite. It was important for everyone’s awareness to focus on one place for the right to work. Even those who have not studied the art of the arcane can contribute to her magic. Then Schierke starts to increase her consciousness into the realm of the dead, a domain even deeper beyond that. After looking at the path carefully, she noticed a dense OD gathering in the far distance as if it flowed towards a single point. She decided to head toward it. In the next panel, we see Guts on the floor, having a hard time trying to get up. Suddenly, the Beast of Darkness appeared through Guts’ sword, the Dragon Slayer. The Beast started to laugh after seeing his pitiful condition, which triggers Guts’ emotion and made him feel angry.
The Beast then sat on the sword and asked Guts if he wanted “It,” the “Power.” Hearing that made Guts grab his sword and stand back on his feet. When Guts was about to strike the beast with his sword, Griffith appeared on his sword with a naked body. Guts got shocked after seeing Griffith. It made Guts vomit, and again he fell to the ground.
