Ever since ‘2gether’ aired, the audience has been asking a single question ‘Are Bright and Win dating in real life?’. Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin, popularly known as Bright and Win respectively, are Thai actors who have acted in multiple projects together, the most famous being ‘2gether’, which has seen three installments. A 2020 TV series called ‘2gether’, followed by a second season named ‘Still 2gether’ and a movie called ‘2gether The Movie’, all based on a Thai novel by the same name.
Bright and Win have also been in another series called F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, a remake of the Japanese manga and drama ‘Hana Yori Dango’. Though this series displays no homosexual relationship between the couple, it has seen commercial success. Fans suspect the intimacy of the two young celebs on-screen has crept into their personal lives and the boys are really in love with each other.
While this sounds too good to be true, BL fans claim otherwise. Bright and Win have been known to be good friends and have developed an attachment to each other. Who Is Bright Vachirawit?
The actor cum model was born Kunlatorn Chivaaree on the 27th of December 1997 but has since been widely popularized as Bright Vachirawit, which is a common practice in the Thai community, with most adopting a name different from their real ones. His name was changed from Kunlatorn to Vachirawit after his parents divorced. Bright is of Thai, American, and Chinese descent but has spent most of his life in Thailand. He came from a family of musicians and began learning various instruments, including bass and guitar, by the age of ten. He gained the spotlight with the Strawberry Krub Cake variety show debuting as an actor in its limited drama called “The Beginning – Run Lovers Run”. The series paved his way in the world of Thai drama, and he signed in GMMTV entertainment.
But he gained true popularity with his lead role in the series ‘2gether’ with Metawin. The series soon became the most viewed series in Thailand by early 2020 and had achieved international popularity causing him to repeat his role of Sarawat in the sequel too. He acted yet again with Win in the series F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers and has spread his wing into modeling as well, becoming the new ambassador of Burberry for the South Asia Pacific region. Bright has numerous times expressed his support for the Thai LGBTQ+ community and same-sex marriages (which might have been a big contributor to the BrightWin ship) and also for other charity projects.
Who Is Win Metawin?
‘Win’ is a Thai actor of Chinese descent, born in early 1999, Win is two years younger than Bright. Born Metawin Opas-Iamkajorn, he gained fame after his debut in the series ‘2gether’ in 2020. Metawin goes by his stage name Win and is signed under the same entertainment company as Bright, GMMTV. His role as Tine has earned the young actor international renown. He was named by Vogue Magazine in the 100 Influential People in the Fashion Industry. And was added to the 50 Influential People by HOWE Magazine along with several other businessmen and influencers in a plethora of fields.
He is also signed in with multiple brands and has become an endorser for many, including Cathy Doll, KFC, Sunsilk, Globe Telecom, and Shiseido, he was also cast in ‘2gether the Series’ with Bright from wherein he first became friends with his co-actor Bright Vachirawit, their bromance has triggered much response from the fans of the series propelling his career forward. This online presence made the international popularity of his series reach Japanese distribution of the movie ‘2gether’ with it premiering in 30 theatres in Tokyo and all over Japan.

Drumroll: Are The 2gether Stars Dating In 2022?
While all hope for ‘Bright-Win’ to be true, lets us see if there is a sliver of a chance for it. There had been a post by the so-called ‘Thai Dispatch’ that Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin that the rumor that the couple is dating and the trainees are in a relationship sent the internet crazy. Fans were retweeting the tweets all over Twitter wishing the couple a happy living and giving their blessings, but as it turned out, the post was not authentic, but this did not mean the couple was not dating as they did not claim that it was not true, fans are still keeping their hope high.
But as in the romantic lives of the two Thai actors, Bright was confirmed to be dating a girl called ‘New’, a non-celebrity whom he had known since grade school, and the relationship lasted for three long years before the couple broke up in 2018 Since Bright has confirmed that he is not romantically involved with anybody and has clarified that he wishes to focus on his career currently. While Win has proven to be more mature than he has let on the silver screen and has had no boyfriend or girlfriend since his debut and says he had none before his debut either.
Though we have no excessive privy to their personal lives and since no rumors have been confirmed or denied, it was being assumed that there might be something going on that was more than a bromance, but it is unto the imagination of the audience.
