Just 5th chapter after the hiatus, and the author is already pulling up big guns. This is not a surprise, not the latter part anyway; but having a short hiatus is a blessing in disguise.
Most manhwa goes for a long break during Hiatus; the author rests during that time while preparing for the future. However, this series is a break from the norm as it returns to republishing just a few months after. It feels so short that it feels like the story went into hiatus just two weeks ago.

It was one of the confidants of the people that had betrayed Joshua in his last life.
He wanted to pursue from the very moment but couldn’t; he had been put under suspicion due to politics. But, as fate would have it (funny thing to say about a regressor), the King showed up and said things in his favor. Now, the king doesn’t want to, but he is out of the loop over the state of events.
Moreover, the king was more interested in belittling Joshua’s family with this rather than following through on the pursuit. He had the guard order to have Joshua to be left to pursue the abductor, to which Joshua zapped away. And as usual, the loyal dog of a follower cried about how his life wouldn’t wait for him or go with him.

Return Of The Legendary Spear Knight Chapter 104 will have Joshua and the knight under his wing fight the assassins that surround them. It will be an easy fight; nothing is hard for a regressor unless they are facing another regressor who has better abilities than them.
Luckily for Joshua, he is the chosen one of the story, so he can do things without worrying about these things.
There is the case of Arthur from Beginning After the End. But that series breaks the rules with everything, and given who it takes inspiration, it is no surprise that it does so well.
As for Joshua and his knight, they will enter a confrontation with the pursuer for at least two chapters. The chances of it ending in one chapter are low as we will be getting the much-needed exposition for the other side.
