The story of Lady Scarlet follows the life of Scarlett Mathia who is from a poor Baron Family. Three years ago, she had gone on a date with a person in Seol but things were going to come to an end, three years later. The person she was dating was already engaged and the fiance had come to pay her money to silence her before things went in the wrong direction.
Scarlett left the palace with her belongings and decides to go to the capital to earn money so that her little brother Timothy can stay in the academy. While running away, she gets ambushed by a gang who try to hurt her. However, she is saved by Marquis Kellan, the most famous moneylender in the capital.
Kellan asks her to be his lover but she refuses. She had left for the capital with only 20 gold coins. She however, decides to play the piano to earn money. What lies ahead for Scarlett?

Lady Scarlet Chapter 82: Recap
The chapter starts off with Pellin talking Scarlett. Pellin gets the news that Edward is in a coma. If she had decisive evidence to prove his corruption, Scarlett could use that against him. She needed Pellin’s help for that. Edward had dragged Pellin into something dangerous that she was scared for her life.
Edward had told her to hide all the boxes in the cabin near his summer house. The location of the cabin was told by Pellin but she asked Scarlett why she was helping her when she had clearly betrayed her before. Scarlett tells her that they used to be friends and she wishes her to be just as happy as her.
They both leave in a carriage while having prepared for any kind of attack. Meanwhile in the visiting room of the prison Marquis Kellan is seen dining while talking to Jackson. Jackson tells him that Lady Scarlett was always worried about him which makes him flustered.
Jackson proceeded to show him the document Lady Scarlett had got from Hart’s residence. Kellan had also got the news that Cecil’s men had committed suicide collectively which meant that a higher authority ordered them to do so. The crown prince was in the capital, busy getting rid of evidence linked to the Second prince.
Things started to look challenging. Jackson cannot let things slide by while things like this happened in his territory. Marquis Kellan believes that Pellin was told by Hart to move the secret fund.
News had reached the Crown prince that Scarlett and Pellin were on the move so he sent around twenty men to ambush them.
