The Dark Doctor Ikuru Chapter 19 had Ikuru deal with Surgeon over who is a better doctor. But this is a series that doesn’t take it seriously, and the surgeon in question cuts people in pieces to cure them. A different kind of madness when compared to Ikuru, but madness nonetheless.
The surgeon had cut Ikuru prior into pieces due to the disagreement the two had. He didn’t mean to cut him, but his practiced instinct acted on impulse. However, Ikuru has evolved a little since he first appeared. Ikuru now has perfect healing that attaches the cell the moment they are severed from each other. Thus, when Ikuru was cut to pieces, his body attached to himself the next instant.
The surgeon was a little shocked by this but mostly amused to see how weird Ikuru’s body was. This rose the rivalry between the two, and they were now in a match to see whose practice was much better when it came to saving lives. However, one of the villains was that the surgeon had come back to life.

On the other hand, the police force was about to kill Ikuru when he appeared, but they were put to stop when the emperor appeared.
Ikuru had helped his nation before, and the emperor was indebted to him for that. The emperor prostrated himself to have him be forgiven for whatever he had done (he hadn’t done anything). But the matter can go. Further, the doctor from different fields was clashing.
