The Plot of Lies Hidden In My Garden
Lies Hidden in My Garden, under the direction of Jung Ji Hyun, is a murder mystery story. Having a mannerly doctor, husband, and an intellectually bright son, Moon Joo Ran is leading a flawlessly designed life in a home. However, she was unaware that worse was about to happen to her. Joo Ran one day senses an odd odor emanating from her courtyard. She is afraid of realizing the odor is coming from a dead body.
That body leads her to meet Chu Sang Eun, a woman who is struggling financially and has experienced domestic abuse at the hands of her husband. She desires to emerge from her shell and abandon her depressing life. After a point, she accepted her miserable fate. But then she got a phone call saying her husband is dead.
However, something is kept under wraps from them. Joo Ran and Sang Eun work together to uncover the secret hidden from their eyes.
Let’s Catch Up With Episode 6 of Lies Hidden In My Garden
Episode 6th opened with a scene of Lee Soo Min and her friend having fun together. Then, she saw Park Seung Jae and went to meet him. But he didn’t know her. Soo Min informed him that she also knew about his parents and himself. She asked Seung for a book that he had at home, so he escorted her there. Seung was confused when she told him about her pregnancy.
When Soo Min was questioned about why she had told him that, she revealed that she was expecting Sueng’s father, Park Jae Ho’s child. In frustration, he pushed her down the stairs, and she died. Jae Ho came home early and hid her body. He later hid Soo Min’s body in their yard and dug it up when Joo Ran questioned him about the weird noise and smell coming from the room.
It happened on the 9th of September. The scene changed to the present day when Jae Ho was telling Joo Ran about the incident. He responded that their son Seung Jae, who killed Soo Min, was the sole reason he kept it a secret from her when Joo Ran questioned him on the matter. He also said that it was a lie regarding Soo Min’s pregnancy. She said she would make Seung arrested for what he did and not let him live in guilty for the rest of his life. But Jae Ho stopped her by saying if she reported their own son, then everything would be over.
Jae Ho also notified Joo Ran that he took Soo Min’s body from their garden on the day he and Yoon Beom planned to go fishing. Joo Ran received a call from the police station the following morning, and on the way there, Jae Ho informed her that Yoon Beom had passed away and that his body had been discovered on the same day as Soo Min’s. Sang Eun was also being questioned on the same day.
Sang Eun was suspicious about her husband’s and Soo Min’s relationship. When they met after the interview, Sang Eun revealed to Joo Ran that she had known Soo Min’s phone had been with Jae Ho from the beginning, but Yoon Beom had stolen it. She got a call from the hospital about her mother’s condition. With no money, about to give birth to a baby, and a forced move out of her current residence, her life had only grown more miserable.
