But that was then, and the relationship between the two has evolved quite a lot since then.

Arakure Ojousama wa Monmon Shiteiru Chapter 30 started with Tsubaki cross-dressing as the prince and practicing for the play. The female lead was a guy who had cross-dressed as one and was a guy beneath. Tadashi had been invited to watch the play as part of the practice but seeing how Tsubaki was getting in touch with the other leaders made him immensely jealous. A thing that was not missed by the writer of the play but she made it clear she wanted the play to be a hit.
There were quite a lot of things that happened before the actual performance on the day of the performance. The cross-dressing female lead was quite high for being cheered by everyone else until he got in way of a yuri ship that the girls were shipping. It led to a tense atmosphere, that wasn’t dissolved easily and the story just moved forward to the day of the performance which turned out to be a huge success on the day of the performance.

Now that the festival is over, and the series is almost close to the winter period, we will see the series transition to some warm relationship. But given how stubborn the two are, it will be quite a while before the two even notice that they should get together and give their relationship a shot. However, the story so far has made people around them aware of their feelings and they will help the two get closure.
