The tension arises between Lucia and Gavilana as Rosendo tries to know the root cause of the problems between his wife and brother.
Jorge’s excitement turns into a panic after he learns more about the family’s performance before the family’s first gig. The family also tries to recover from Gavilana’s shocking public revelation after the Cuevas family’s first gig. The rest of the series follows the estranged brother trying to stay close to the family and repair his bonds.
The series doesn’t have massive viewership, but it does have a small dedicated fan group. The series further tells the audience about the troubles which happen in every family and how every family deals with the same. The series has been going on for a long time, thus leading to some of the viewers losing their interest in the show.

Mariachis Episode 7 “I Forgot Again”- Recap
The 7th episode titled “I Forgot Again” premiered on March 30, 2023. The episode begins with Jorge struggling to accept his reality of the present. The life-changing reveal by Galvian leads to Jorge escaping to Xoch’s, which leaves the rest of the family in a bind of trying to figure out a way to keep the family from fracturing.
The Cuevas family is disturbed by the sudden disappearance of Jorge. Rosendo goes back in time to his childhood, while Jorge tries to go off the grid to escape the harsh realities of his present. The episode ends with Jorge trying to come to terms with his present and Rosendo lovingly going down his childhood memory lane.
