The new episode of Queendom Puzzle will be released soon. Queendom Puzzle is an ongoing survival program by Mnet for K-pop girl groups. It is different from Queendom Seasons. It has upgraded rules and missions. From the moment the names of the participants were announced, it gained attention. The show features members from the old and new generations of K-pop girl groups.
Queendom Puzzle has released performance videos of participants before the premiere episode. It gained popularity, and viewers were excited about the new survival program by Mnet. It has classified the participants into four tiers. These tiers are according to the number of times the song topped the music show and the highest number of album sales. The tier ranking is not permanent. It depends on the score they will get after every battle.
The first mission was a self-evaluation round. The twenty-eight participants gave their first stage performance. They voted through the Up and Down buttons. The highest scorer got a chance which is helpful in the next mission. The second mission is seven against seven. They will perform the same song and will assess through it. Queendom Puzzle has global voting through the Mnet app. Every week, the audience will select seven members of their choice and cast a vote.
Queendom Puzzle Episode Recap:
Queendom Puzzle’s first mission, ‘Up Down Battle’, continued with the performance of the remaining members Yeon Hee, So Eun, Seo Yeon, Ye Eun, Chae Rin, Joo E, and Kei. They received mixed votes from other members. Bora is the highest scorer with 25 upvotes and two downvotes. Yeoreum and Jiwon have received 2nd highest votes, with 24 upvotes and three downvotes.
Hwiseo was the third-highest scorer with 23 upvotes and four downvotes. The first round was over. The contestants will be rearranged based on the outcome of the Up and Down battle. The new members of Tier One are Bora, Yeoreum (WJSN) and Jiwon, Hwiseo, Chae Yeon, Nana and Ye Eun. The members in Tier Two are Kei, Ji Han, ZOA, Fye, So Eun, Soo Jin and Yuki. Tier Three members are Suyun, Yeonhee, Sanh Ah, Do Hwa, Riina, Juri and Ji Woo. All Weeekly members are together in the second Tier. Tier Four members are JooE, Miru, Haein, Elly, Woo Yeon, Chaerin, and Seo Yeon.
The newly formed Tier will consist of seven members each. There was mixed feeling among the members after the new Tier. Some members were dissatisfied with their performance, whereas some have shown their worthiness in reaching Tier One. The first round of the Queendom Puzzle came to an end.
The members arrived at the Mnet Puzzle Studio. Everyone gathered in the hall as Taeyeon arrived with news of the next battle. The second battle will be a 7-On-7 Team battle. They will be divided into four groups and will each perform one song. The team with seven members will battle against each other. The members will be in four groups for a performance video of the original songs.
A mentor will examine the performance. The winning team will get 10,000 points each. The songs are Charismatic and Snap. The member with the highest scorer got the Puzzle Power. After the completion of Up and Down, Bora has the Puzzle Power. She is allowed to choose a song. Bora chose Snap as their performance song. She has also given immunity to select members for the performance.
