T-Series aims to produce content across various genres, including comedy, thriller, biopics, and musicals, with budgets ranging from ₹20 crore to ₹100 crore. The company plans to shoot primarily in Hindi and subsequently dub the content in multiple languages, aligning with OTT platforms’ strategies.
T-Series’ Foray into Web Series Production
Notably, Disney+ Hotstar is set to exclusively stream “Kaala,” marking T-Series’ entry into web series production. This crime thriller, created and directed by Bejoy Nambiar, revolves around an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer’s pursuit of criminal masterminds, power, and revenge. It will stream on Disney+ Hotstar in India and later on Hulu in the U.S.
T-Series’ venture into web series production and its collaboration with Disney+ Hotstar signifies a new chapter for the renowned music label as it explores diverse storytelling formats and extends its reach to digital audiences.
