Yofukashi no Uta has garnered a lot of attention recently due to its nice blend of Romance and supernatural genres with an interesting plot and characters. Kou Yamori is an average middle school boy who is good at studies and sports. However, it is just a facade he maintains in front of the society. Finally, he decides to give it up and quits school, his only pastime being roaming in the night. He even developed insomnia due to the lack of sunlight in his routine.
One day, while strolling out at night, he meets an unusual girl named Nazuna Nanakusa. She tells him the reason for his insomnia is his lack of satisfaction with his daily activities and suggests he spend his hours doing what he likes. She invites him to her house, and while he is pretending to be asleep, she bites him on the neck.
In the last chapter of the series, we left Kou and Akira taking a walk together and Kou inviting her to his place. He was bad at getting up on his own, and so he needed someone to wake him up. She agrees with a smile and asks him what time to come. Fans are patiently waiting for the next chapter to release, which will most likely tell us about the relationship Kou and Nazuna are going to have going forward. Nazuna knows that she will have to drop the bomb on him someday, but she wishes to keep things as they are for as long as she can.
With that being said, we are going to provide you with the latest information on the release date and time of the next chapter, any potential spoilers we may come across, as well as the place where you can read the next chapter as soon as it releases. But first, let’s have a quick recap of the previous chapter to brush up on your memory.
Yofukashi no Uta Chapter 172 Recap
Hatsuka asks Nazuna if she is in love with Kou. Nazuna agrees nonchalantly, not even realizing what question she has been asked. After denying it for some time, she finally accepts it. Hatsuka tells her that she needs to come to a decision. She can’t turn him into a vampire if she has feelings for him. When Kiku Hoshimi drank the blood of someone she was in love with, she became human again. Hatsuka says that since Nazuna was born a vampire, it is not clear if she can turn into a human, but it’s still not safe for her to drink Kou’s blood.
Nazuna says she doesn’t know what to do. She had never felt like this before and had no more answers than Hatsuka did. Kou was still getting over what happened in Hokkaido, and this was not the right time to drop this bomb on him. Even though she would have to tell him sooner or later, she planned on keeping things as they were for as long as she could.
We cut to Kou strolling in the streets at 2 am in the morning. He comes across Akira, who is in school uniform, and decides to walk with her. They have a small conversation before Kou decides to go home and sleep, asking her to come to wake him up in the morning.
