The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 24: Release Date & Preview

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 24 release date is just next week. The series focuses on a world after a zombie apocalypse. This installment will mark the end of the long-running show. With its finale episode really close, here is what fans need to know about the same. It is actually so unbelievable to even type that this shoe is going to end.

The whole story is based on a comic book series by Robert Kirkman. Even that book is designed not to have a conclusion but guess what? It’s 2022, and miracles happen. Now, before we begin to break down information about the last episode, let us look at a recap of the penultimate one.

Back in The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 23, titled Family, we saw that Coalition Forces have now united and are now using the train of the Commonwealth. They have joined forces with the prisoners who have escaped the bars. Everyone is now going back to the city with one last hope for a better future by overthrowing the rule of Pamela. Even Judith, who was always skeptical about it all, joins this force. She wants to honor her family and name and the vision of the future that they once set before Pamela caved in.

Tyler is full of guilt for everything that he has done in his past, and it is genuine. He apologizes to the whole group before joining them for the cause. Tyler also reveals that the stolen children might be in the children’s home of the Commonwealth. Neegan and Ezekiel also make peace with each other after what looks like an eternity of conflict. Princess finally knows where Mercer is, and the two talk about a strategy to overthrow Pamela from power. They will use the testimony of the liberated prisoners in order to impeach Pamela legally.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 23 Recap

But well, Pamela gets to know the plan before it can even begin, and thus, Mercer is arrested for treason against her. She also understands about the Coalition train, which is coming for her. Thus, what she does is set up a trap. This ends up with Tyler and a few others of the opposite force getting killed. Judith tries to save Maggie all along, but Pamela catches them and shoots Judith. The biggest blow comes when Pamela orders a huge herd into the city in order to instigate a lockdown, it backfires because this herd may contain some new variant walkers.

This breaks down the defenses of the city, even more, making it easy to lay siege. Aaron, Ludia, and Jerry are trying to get into the city with the advantage of the herd, but with all the due commotion, they get separated. This results in Ludia being bit. Jerry leaves the group in order to help others from his group. As for Pamela, she orders her forces to just protect the homes of the elite people of the city and leave the rest of them to their doom, given the fact that the Walkers will soon take over. She then disappears to just save herself. By the end of the episode, we see that all the friends are struggling to catch their breath and act according to the plan. Meanwhile, Daryl has found Judit and is rushing to the hospital to get some immediate help.
