Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, the luxury hotel chain of the Italian jeweler Bulgari, opened its eighth hotel – Bulgari Hotel Tokyo on April 4th, 2023. Through the opening of this hotel, Bulgari has brought its contemporary Italian style and charm to Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
The hotel occupies the 40th to 45th floors of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, located near the Tokyo Station and Imperial Palace Gardens. The hotel is in a very central and convenient location, within walking distance from the main attractions and shopping areas of the town.
To honor the beauty, culture, and history of Japan, the famous Italian jeweler has added a pink diamond signifying the well-known Sakura, pink cherry blossoms that grace the landscapes of the country every year. Similar to how he honored the other seven hotels, each associated with unique, alluring, and rare gemstones.
Jean-Christophe Babin, the CEO of the Bulgari Group, shared his excitement and pride at the opening event. He says they are proud to add another gem to the crown of the Bulgari Hotel & Resorts collection with the inauguration of the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo in Japan.
For over three decades, the brand has beautifully combined both jewelry and hospitality to meet the market’s expectations of high-level services, not only in their stores but also when staying in their properties, providing them an opportunity to share the Italian luxury experience, design, and creativity in an environment that reflects the Bulgari spirit.
The festivities began after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was hosted by the CEO himself along with the Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike, Ambassador of Japan Gianluigi Benedetti, famous actress Anne Hathaway, the singer and actor Tomohisa Yamashita, Executive Managing Officer of Mitsui Fudosan Co., President of Bulgari Japan Vincent Reynes, Executive Vice President of the Bulgari Group and the General Manager of Bulgari Hotel.
