The girl group of four, Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé, has made history with their VMA 2023 win for best choreography. The song Pink Vemon was a pre-release from the comeback album Born Pink, which came out in 2022. BLACKPINK also began a Born Pink world tour on 15 October last year that is to come to an end on September 17 this year in Seoul, South Korea, at SkyDome.
The information of the same has been given by the Instagram account blackpinkofficial. Not only this, the choreography of the song was so loved by the fans that the dance practice video of Pink Venom surpassed 200 Million views on YouTube.
The Pink Venom Challenge was also highly hyped on social media, and it was well deserved. The credit also goes to the choreographers of the song: Kiel Tutin, Sienna Lalau, Taryn Cheng, and Lee Jung. Although BLACKPINK did not attend the award show, their victory calls for celebration for the loyal fan base.
This is not the first VMA for BLACKPINK; it has a total of 5. Lisa also won last year for Best Kpop for Lalisa. She took the opportunity to thank the fans and her group members, saying how much she loved them.
Singers Taylor Swift also stood up and appreciated the legendary artist and grooved on their performance. BLACKPINK may not have walked the red carpet this time, but they have made their presence felt loud and clear.

The quartet won Group of The Year at VMAs 2023, ending the four-year reign of BTS, who won consecutively from 2018-2022. After Jhope and Jin enlisted in the army, their solo era began, which is expected to continue till their reunion in 2025 after all of them complete their service.
Not to forget that BLACKPINK’s album Born Pink surpassed 2 billion Spotify streams, making them worthy of the award and praise. They are the first girl group that managed to win this award in 24 years, which will remain a milestone for years to come.
A Tremendous Year For Kpop artists as They Shine Bright With Records And Wins
Not only BLACKPINK, TXT, and Stray Kids also got their VMAs. Stray Kids won for Best Kpop category, while TXT was overjoyed for their victory for Push Performance of The Year. Moreover, BTS Jungkook made history by winning Song of The Summer.
He is the only K-pop solo artist to have the award twice in a non-K-pop category. His previous win was with Charlie Puth for their collaboration Left and Right. Not only this, he became the first K-pop artist to perform at the Global Citizens Award this year and appear on the cover of Dazed. BTS V also continues to break records by releasing his debut solo album, Layover, claiming the K-pop king throne.
BLACKPINK also made history by selling 1 million tickets from their Born Pink World Tour. That accounted for a sale of 200 Million USD in just 48 shows. As their tour comes to an end, they are already the first female Asian actress to achieve this glory. Indeed, Korean artists are claiming the music world, and the fans are in awe, enjoying the feast.
