2nd Free! The Final Stroke Film Part 2 released the new trailer yesterday. The sports anime franchise that has been running for a long time is now coming back with a new movie. Free! that is a sports anime have a huge fan following due to its superb plot and especially the character design. It is one of those sports animes that matches the league of Haikyuu!!, Yuri on ICE, Inazuma Eleven, and Slam Dunk. People’s rising interest in sports animes made the creators produce more of them. Every time there is a new sports anime it center’s on different sports. It can be baseball, basketball, football, ice skating, or swimming.
It’s been quite a time since the fans were eagerly waiting for the movie and now the creators have released a trailer. Some fans shared how relaxing feels to finally get a trailer. The best part of it is that the trailer also revealed the premiere date for the movie and made the fans go insane. The reason for so much craze for a single movie is the first part of it. It got a very good response and now the two-part anime film is going to reach its finale with the release of part 2. About Free!
Free! was released as an original anime television series that was produced by Kyoto Animation. It was directed by Hiroko Utsumi and was written by Masahiro Yokotani. The anime was released on 4th July 2013 and till 26th September 2013. The anime was aired on Tokyo MX, TVA, ABC, BS11, and AT-X in Japan. As for the international airing, it was licensed by Crunchyroll. Later a light novel series by Koji Oji and illustrated by Futoshi Nishiya was released on 9th July 2013. Till 2nd July 2014, it released 2 volumes in total. Another anime series titled “Free!- Eternal Summer” was released on 2nd July 2014. It ended on 24th September 2014 and till then it aired 13 episodes and 1 OVA. Another anime series was released on 11t July 2018 and it also ended with 12 episodes.
A few anime films were also released that where that is titled “High Speed! Free! Starting Days”, “Free! Timeless Medley”, “Free! Take your Marks”, and “Free Road to the World – The Dream”. The one which is going to release now is titled “Free! The Finale Stroke”.
Plot
The plot of the anime series Free! takes place in Iwatobi, in the district of Iwami, Tottori, Japan. Its protagonist is Haruko Nanase a high school student who is a prodigy swimmer. One day, he encountered his childhood rival Rin Matsuko from the Samezuka Academy. This triggered something within Haruko that he decided to revitalize the swimming team at Iwatobi High School. So, he began and other essential characters like Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, Rei Ryugazaki, and others were recruited. They began to train but at the same time, the rivalry between Haruko and Rin began to get more and more bitter.
Resulting in Rin playing tricks on their team in order to prevent them from improving their skills any further. All the anime series center on Haruko Nanase and continues his life journey. In the next animes, he achieves different things and also encountered people. Along with this, he entered the University and reconnects with friends from his junior high school.
2nd Free! The Final Stroke Film Trailer Released
Like I said before Free! has been released so many anime films and the response was very good. Recently, the official website of the anime franchise has been Free! release a full trailer for the upcoming movie. It was released on Friday, 1st March 2022, and gave out major visuals for the upcoming anime. Along with this it also revealed the premiere date of the movie. The full trailer of part two of 2nd Free! The Final Stroke also previewed the main theme song titled “This Fading Blue” by the unity OLDCODEX.
Not only this, but a visual poster is also out that also shows the release date. The movie 2nd Free! The Final Stroke will be out in April 2022. A particular release date is yet to be finalized so make sure you stick to us for further updates on this.
