The Princess of Wales has led a long journey of transformations since becoming a royal and thus, fans are wondering about Kate Middleton before and after changes. She was not born a royal of course but soon her life turned around when she married Prince William. Initially, her debut in the media was when she was still in college with Prince William and they were not actually dating but were just friends.
It was when she took part in a fashion show at the University of Saint Andrews. It was 2002 and she wore a Charlotte Todd see-through dress and soon, Will sparked dating rumors. Soon, they officially announced their relationship in 2003. At the time, her fashion sense was very y2k which included low-rise bootcut jeans and skirts with wide belt details and long shirts.
This was still the time when she used to dress like a typical college girl. She was often photographed with her girlfriends at the time when she was just 23 watching rugby at the university or just eating burgers around town hanging out. The photographs from this era seem to be very unguarded and Kate never paid attention to anyone secretly photographing her.
Later in 2005, it was when she was with Prince William, Kate attended a wedding in his family. This time, she left her casual attire for a very formal attire more suitable for the royal family. Well, it did not take time to wear off because soon paparazzi shot her in a tank top at her University bleachers with Prince William trying to adjust her seat in a very bad posture. Let’s face it, the whole thing needs a considerable amount of time to adjust to, and looking at the Kate that we see on TV now, shows how hard she has worked herself to match the standard of others in the royal family.
Kate Before Her Marriage To Prince William
After an infamous split from the Prince in 2007, she was seen partying but the two soon got back together in 2008 and looked stronger than ever. She even attended her first royal event of the Order of the Garter service which took place at Windsor Castle.
Soon, her outfits started to become less casual and more formal. It was in 2010 that Prince William proposed to her. Now that she has got a one-way ticket inside the royal family, her style elated a lot and I can only assume that there are high-end stylists dressing her up. She soon started attending royal functions and was married to Prince William in 2011.
The couple announced that they were expecting a child together in 2012 and soon she looks became more mature. After the birth of their first child Prince George in 2013, her outfits were very monochromatic and elegant. She also wore businesswomen sort of outfits to various royal events. In 2019, we saw her rocking the Lover’s Knot Tiara which was famously worn by her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.
Kate After Her Marriage In The Royal Family
At this event, Kate was attending a trifecta. She has a black outfit moment while her jewelry was loaded with diamonds. She was given a blue sash which meant appointment by the Queen to Dame Grand Cross of Royal Victorian Order. She was also wearing a yellow ribbon that had an attached image of the queen which meant the service to the sovereign.
Although, formal dresses and coats are not the only things that Kate has been spotted in since her marriage. She has been photographed in various athletic wear while playing with her kids and husband. She is obviously a huge sports enthusiast and does not shy away when the moment requires it.
We have also seen her wearing some casual maxi dresses, obviously full-sleeved, while she hangs out with her family and the kids could have fun together with their parents. Kate is also a lot like Princess Diana in some ways as she wants her children to lead a normal life.
