Seven people must prove themselves and go through the bloody revenge story from The Escape Of The Seven Episode 1, to be released this week. Written by Kim Soon-ok and directed by Joo Dong-min, the series has other names: 7 Escape and War For Survival.

A girl goes missing, and seven people, an OB-GYN doctor, a drama production company CEO, an entertainment CEO, a former gangster, a school art teacher, an aspiring idol, and a masked mobile platform company get suspected for the notorious case. The girl disappeared due to a web of desires and lies.

The second season may arrive in 2024 on the same platform. Filming for the first season of the picaresque and revenge drama, The Escape Of The Seven, ended on 06 July 2023. The South Korean drama got its music from Jeong Se-rin and Kim Jun-seok. The writer, Kim Soon Ok, is the biggest reason to watch the upcoming series because he has already robbed our hearts through his hit dramas like ‘The Last Empress’ and ‘The Penthouse.’

The Escape Of The Seven Episode 1 might introduce us to the infamous case of a missing girl and the seven people involved. The episode might also show how the girl goes missing. Go Myung-ji (played by Jo Yoon-hee) is a worthy high-school art teacher who guides her students. However, she spreads a rumor and gets bold to hide her secret.

Matthew Lee (played by Um Ki-Joon) is a reputed person in a mobile platform company who loves to have a private life. Only a handful of people know him. However, the missing girl’s case will reveal the identity of many people.

Geum Ra-hee (played by Hwang Jung-eum) is an ambitious businesswoman who serves as the CEO of a drama production company. Nothing is more important than success and money for her. She is an ambitious, skillful, and aggressive worker who can do anything for success. Geum Ra-hee plans to find her daughter, whom she abandoned fifteen years ago, to inherit something big.

On the other hand, Min Do-hyeok (played by Lee Joon), who used to be a gangster, was betrayed repeatedly in his crime world for trusting the wrong people for good. Thus, the series will show him as a sad person with no goals in life.

Han Mo-ne (played by Lee Yu-bi) is a beautiful, young, wealthy, and an aspiring idol. Her friends appreciate her, and she seems to have a perfect life. However, she is a liar and might lose everything due to her lies. According to Lee Yu-bi’s statement in an interview, she might be a villain in the series, though the first episode might not reveal the secret.

The first episode might establish another greedy and reputed person, Yang Jin-mo (played by Yoon Jong-hoon). He can do anything to make profits. He prefers to be gentle but gets out of control once he gets angry.

Nam Chul Woo (played by Jo Jae Yoon) works at Deokseon Police Station as the chief detective who suddenly got promoted for the first time in five years. Otherwise, he remains tired and unlucky while solving the cases.
