The American siblings are named Kimberley Perry, the lead vocalist, and guitarist; Reild Perry, the bass guitarist and background vocalist; and Neil Perry, who plays mandolin, Bouzoki and is also background vocals, formed a band named “The Band Perry.” The record label that signed them in the year 2009 was Record Nashville. They released their self-titled debut on October 12, 2010.
The track “If I Die Young” from their album reached number one on the U.S. “Billboard Hot Country Songs” and “Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks” charts and has been certified as 6x platinum. It also appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number two, which made the band the first country music group to reach this position since Dixie Chicks in 2006. The music video for this song was also nominated for a CMT Award for “Video of The Year” and won the CMT Music Award for “Duo Video of The Year.”
The Band Perry released their next single from their debut album, “You Lie,” which they recorded in 2011. It became their second song to top the Hot Country song chart at number one and was certified as platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Early Career
Kimberley Perry worked as roadies with her brothers in a band. Her brothers performed an opening act at the “Mobile Music Machines” at the age of 8 and 10. Kimberley released a solo EP named “Carry On,” which has a track of the same name. They performed on the “New Faces of Country” tour in 2005 when they formed their band. The band released their first single, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely,” in 2006.

Switching genres
The band released a new single, “Live Forever,” in the year 2015 August 14, from their third studio album on. In this track, they collaborated with a pop producer RedOne who worked with Lady Gaga and Enrique Iglesias. They switched their record label from Republic Nashville in 2016 for issues regarding their contract and got signed to Interscope Records. In the same year, a magazine confirmed that “The Band Perry” was switching genres and entering the pop genre but will also keep releasing music in their country genre.

Work in Television
The Band Perry was one of the leading roles in a family drama television series known as “Nashville,” which was aired on ABC. This television show is produced by R.J. Cutler, Steve Buchanan, and Callie Khouri and stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere. It also stars Powers Boothe, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, and Sam Palladio.
Kimberley has released songs for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” which starred Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth and was released in 2013. They have also released a song for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” filmed in 2014. In this television series, Kimberley Perry voiced “Maya” and released her first song, “Wide Awake,” in 2011.
