Spy X Family Chapter 82: Release Date, Recap & Where To Read?

Finally, the “SPY” part of Spy X Family is back. After so many wholesome chapters, the story has taken a rather serious turn. In chapter 81, a new character is introduced to the story, Winston Wheeler. He is quite a skilled agent who worked as a deep cover operative of Ostania’s intelligence. In the chapter, Loid also mentioned that he had worked with him once. Now Loid and his team have to recover the stolen documents from Wheeler before he gives them to the SSS.

The introduction of Wheeler was done in a pretty cool way. Some say that he is at par with Loid. I guess I will find out about that in the upcoming chapters. Chapter 81 ended with keeping all its fans in suspense, no matter which one was Lord, the one who was meeting with the SSS, or who met Yuri. It is too confusing. Spy X Family Chapter 81 Recap

The chapter starts with a shooting sequence, where WISE agents try to catch the mole who stole the confidential files from WISE HQ in Ostania. But the mole was a former agent, so he was skilled in dodging bullets. He took down every WISE agent that was attacking him with ease. It did it like it was a piece of cake for him.

The mole was Winston Wheeler, Westalis intelligence, communications division. He was also a deep cover operative of Ostania intelligence apparatus that had repeatedly, Western secrets to the East. He was also suspected of being behind the recent Spy purge that did too much damage to WISE operations.

In the next scene, a WISE agent explains the mission to Loid and Fiona. The WISE agent was disappointed by the HQ after they let the mole get away. Loid told them he had worked with Wheeler on a mission before he came to the East. He mentioned that he was an extremely talented agent. Wheeler had crossed the border in the north and was already in Ostania territory.

However, they had heard that Wheeler was meeting with the SSS at a hotel in Shell bury. Fiona asked if that information was solid. The WISE agent told her that Wheeler was not the only mole they had. In Eastern Bureaus, their agents were digging away. After hearing all this, Loid realized that the reason Yuri ran off earlier would have been because he got called from SSS.

He told them to be careful as there might be many SSS agents in Shellbury. Fiona suggested that they should cut off every mission, including Operation Strix, and should start a fresh new start. However, Loid disagreed with her suggestion. He told Fiona it would take years before they managed to get close to Desmond again. Loid said to her that they were ordered to recover files. As they were discussing, they finally reached Shellbury.

Next, we see Yuri and SSS agent arriving at Shellbury. The SSS agent mentioned that it might be their best chance to Twilight if he showed up. In the next panel, we see Loid, Fiona, and the WISE agent disgusting them for the mission. The WISE agent told Loid to stall the SSS so they couldn’t contact Wheeler.
