This anime centers around Yosuke, the uncle, and Takafumi, his nephew, who both play roles in the story. The story takes place around the time Yosuke was hit by a truck when he was 17 years old. Yosuke woke up from his coma some 17 years later. Only his nephew Takafumi attended his wake. After waking up 17 years later, Yosuke begins to sprout nonsense, claiming he was in another world when he slept.
With no relatives left Yosuke, Takafumi takes in his uncle in his apartment, and there he shows him the magic and powers he gained from another world to prove that he was in another world during his coma. To show the world the powers of Yosuke, Takafumi decides to become a video content creator and begins to live with his uncle.
Isekai is filled with jokes here and there in each episode that show Yosuke’s adventures in the other world. This anime is filled with fun, humorous tales from Yosuke that are sometimes enlightening, and sometimes sad.
Uncle From Another World, a comic Isekai anime, will be broadcast in two parts, a total of 13 episodes. The first season aired from July 6th to August 31st, 2022, and consisted of seven episodes. Furthermore, the series’ remaining six episodes will be published on Thursdays throughout 2022.
